Wounds are inevitable in life, but the wound becoming infected is a choice.

A few months ago, Lindsey Jones mentioned this statement in a sermon at Way Family Church, and it has stuck with us ever since.

Hurt, pain, and struggles will come our way—it’s part of the human experience. But how we respond to those wounds is up to us.

Will we let them fester into bitterness, anger, or doubt? Or will we seek healing, forgiveness, and growth?
