MiracleCon

last and final of miracle con Roy's creature cosplay was proud to participate in this convention and hope to get invited back again next year

As we reflect on MiracleCon this year, and on the people it brings together and the good it makes possible, we want to remember a cherished member of our community: Robert Thompson.

If you attended MiracleCon in years past, you may have met Robert. An avid gamer and a passionate supporter of MiracleCon’s mission, he joined us every year—playing games, talking with people, taking pictures, and sharing in the joy of the weekend.

Robert passed away this year in March. And although he couldn’t be with us in person this year, his presence could still be felt throughout the convention.

Robert donated his sizable game collection to the community because he wanted the games he loved to keep being played and enjoyed by others. His games helped fill shelves in our board game library, appeared in the raffle, and made up the majority of this year’s play-to-win games. Every time someone gathered around one of those games—laughing, learning, and connecting—a little piece of Robert’s generous spirit was there with them.

Robert is dearly missed. But we know he would be happy knowing that his games are still doing what he loved: bringing people together.

Thank you, Robert, for every game, every conversation, and every year you shared with us. Your generosity continues to make a difference.

Thank you ! We are loving all the pictures we are seeing pop up! Make sure you are tagging us in all your posts so we can see them all! Don't forget to tell us what your favorite parts of MiracleCon were and what you want to see next year!
