SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT:

Supposedly, you left your front door unlocked, and one person or few persons open the door come inside. You don’t know them. And they want to stay in your house. Would you let them to stay? Would you receive them with open arms? Remember, they broke into your house. They came without permission. If you do not accept such a behavior from strangers breaking into your house, how you will accept illegals, regardless of if they are criminals or not, come to your country?

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT:

Muslims claim to be descendants of Ishmael and he is the half brother of Isaac. Therefore, we as Christians, are half brothers and sisters of Muslims.
I think we need to build friendships with them so we can minister to them. You may ask, how?
As a former Muslim and educated in Islam, I would be glad to share with your group, large or small, the methods of reaching Muslims for Christ.

In Ephesians chapter 2 verses 8 and 9 we read: "For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift, not from works, so that no one can boast."
I am almost sure vast majority of us Christians memorized these 2 verses, but how many of us memorized the next verse? I am wondering how many of us do understood verse 10?
"For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them."

I was talking to a friend today about spirituality and he said: "all religions are the same". I said, " in the Bible Mtthew chapter 5 verse 43 says: "you have heard that it was said, love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I tell you, love your enemies (unbelievers) and pray for those who persecute you".
In the Queen (Muslim's holly book) chapter 9 verse 14 says, " kill none-Muslims and Allah will punish them by your (Muslims) hands, cover them (none-Muslims) with shame".
I asked my friend, "how these two can be the same"?

In the Quran (The Muslims holy book) in chapter 24 verse 31 we read: “And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their private parts and not show of their adornment except only that which is apparent, and draw their veils over their (necks and) bosoms and not reveal their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male servants who lack vigor, or small children who have no knowledge of women's private parts. As a former Muslim people usually ask me, "is it true that Muslims and Christians worship same God?" I always answer them, "Christians believe Jesus is son of God but, Muslims believe that is blasphemy, so you tell me if they worship same God."

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

This coming Wednesday I will teach on the Pillars of Islam, which are found in the Quran. We will discover the inconsistencies and the falsehood of the first 3 pillars. Please join us at Edmond First Baptist Church from 6-7:15 PM!
