Imagine having a private retreat for your family and friends. That's exactly what the homeowners of H2D's Whidby Family Camp Project wanted to create.

The design centers on a main cabin that serves as the heart of the camp. Complementing the main cabin, two smaller cabins were designed with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a small entry area each. These secondary cabins, or “detached bedrooms,” offer private retreat spaces for family and guests to rest and enjoy quiet time, while encouraging interaction in the main cabin or surrounding outdoor gathering areas.

The homeowners of this Lake Washington property had long envisioned replacing the existing cabin with their dream home. The new home, H2D's Lake Washington Rustic Cabin, spans approximately 4,000 sf, and is designed to take full advantage of the lakefront setting.
