The pinksocks movement empowers people from all walks of life to connect with anyone, anywhere, by creating a global tribe of pinksocks-wearing people who are focused on empathy, caring, and love. The movement has been decommoditized from its beginning in 2015 – all pinksocks are gifts. Every connection made between the gift giver and recipient is based on an authentic connection, not a transaction.

**SOME GIFTS CARRY A BIGGER MESSAGE. 🩷🧦**

A book. A pair of socks. And, most importantly for someone who loves a good sticker… **stickers!** 😄

A huge thank you to **Nicholas Adkins** for sending me such a thoughtful package, including his book, *PINKSOCKS: How a Pair of Socks Became a Symbol of Love and Connection.*

What began with something as simple as a pair of pink socks has grown into a message about **love, human connection, kindness and the impact we can have on one another.**

That is exactly why I’m looking forward to welcoming Nicholas to **Life the Battlefield**.

Behind every movement is a person. Behind every symbol is a story. And behind Nicholas’ story are lessons I believe deserve to be heard.
