Diabetes Army
The place to come to visit with an ex pro wrestler and business executive who is beating type 2 diab
I learned a lot as a pro athlete. Then wasn't and gained a lot of weight and got type2 diabetes.
473 lbs. Down 175. Here’s what almost got me hurt again.
I couldn’t climb a flight of stairs at 473 lbs.
Down 175, I finally felt strong again — so strong I ignored every signal my body sent me to slow down.
That’s the mistake nobody talks about. Rest isn’t the opposite of progress. It’s part of it.
I broke this down in my latest YouTube video — what I look for now, and how I learned it the hard way.
Not medical advice, always check with your doctor before changing your routine. DM me “REST” and I’ll send you the link.

I went from 175 pounds heavier and 7,000 units of insulin a month to walking these beaches daily. You don’t need to be a runner. My Slow Runners Society family knows — slow can still be strong.
Want to try it with me? Tomorrow, 30 minutes, Venice to Redondo. 3 slow, 3 fast. DM me the word WALK and I’ll send you my exact timer and post-walk checklist I use to keep my numbers steady.
This is not medical advice. Just what worked for me. Talk to your doc before you start anything new.

You don’t have to be a superhero to take control of type 2 diabetes.
I used to think I needed some kind of superpower to turn my health around. Turns out I just needed the right tools — and I built them.
My app. My academy. The exact system that helped me lose 175 lbs and manage my own health, now broken down step by step for you.
This is just what worked for me — always check with your doctor about what’s right for you.
You don’t need a cape. You need a plan.
DM me and I’ll walk you through it personally.
I just finished a 5K on Venice Beach. At 473 lbs, I couldn’t walk to my mailbox without stopping to catch my breath.
Here’s the biggest mistake I see diabetics make: they think food is the only lever. It’s not. Movement is one of the most powerful things you can do if you’re managing type 2 — and it’s the one most people skip.
Not a marathon. Not a gym membership. Just move. Walk after meals. Take the stairs. Anything.
This is just what worked for me — always talk to your doctor about what’s right for you.
I built the app I wish I had when I started. Food logging, tracking, a plan built for you every week.
DM me, and I'm happy to walk you through the app and also our diabetes academy. No bots. It will be me answering you back.
At the end of the day all we have is-our health which drives everything else in our life!
DM me for more!
DM for video link. This is my exact path to dumping 175 and getting off 7,000 units of insulin. The video is my video platform. If you need help, reach out. Send me a DM.
Losing 175 lbs changed everything about how I manage my Type 2 diabetes. But back then, I used to wish I had something that could just look at my food and tell me: is this going to spike me or not?
I built it. Point your camera at your plate, and the app tells you exactly how that food is likely to affect your blood sugar.
No more guessing. No more waiting an hour to find out the hard way.
This is part of how I stay ahead of it every single day. (Always talk to your doctor about your own plan — this is what’s worked for me.)
DM me “walkthrough” and I’ll personally show you how it works.
Learned a great lesson many years ago, and it came to light yesterday about being in the gym. This is so important as a Type 2 diabetic. If you need help with blood sugar, DM me. If you want to see this video, DM me. I'll send the link.
