I can do all things who strengthens me. It’s not about my ability to achieve something great but my ability to be content in all things and circumstances.

Pray this encourages you.

Mommy CUT UP at my daughter’s performance on Saturday. Days like this are hard. You have to deal with being a caregiver AND making quick decisions on how to navigate situstions, while still being there for your children. It’s hard. But this was the end of the day.

You can do hard things. You put a smile on your face and keep pushing.

Taken today. Excuse the CUSSING. The diploma she received the other week is about to be taken back. She has an F~ but her standing up on her own gave her an F+

She always amazes and surprises me. I am always proud of my girl.

Many of you ask if Mommy is mean or gets sassy. She’s doing a lot more cussing, but she loves to say, “Your a__, you fu___er, and I’m going to beat your a__! 😬

Mommy has never been difficult. This is the sassiest she will get, and it’s still nothing. She will laugh after she says whatever she feels.

She’s clenching her teeth together, which is causing a cracking sound. There is a split in her tooth.

NO, there is nothing I can do! NO, she can’t wear a mouth guard. YES, I’ve tried everything. This is just the disease. Whew.

This is what you don’t get to see in my life as a SANDWICH caregiver. We are winding down the school year, and my oldest is graduating. The goal is to make sure I’m the best mom while taking care of Mommy.

Many of you may or may not know, but in addition to caregiving, I’m a full-time homeschool mom! My education degree is being put to good use. 😬

just finished her 12th grade year. She danced full-time at .dance and is applying to different companies to continue dancing full-time.

We are so proud of her and can’t wait to see what God has in store for her in this next season.

Show your internet niece some love. 💙💙

I've been asked this question a few times. The simple answer is yes and no. It really depends on the stage. In the early stages, they can still read books, magazines, and newspapers. In the middle stages, they will be able to recognize words, but may have trouble with processing and comprehension. By the time they reached the end stages, they had lost the ability to read.

As the disease progresses, individuals who have been diagnosed with dementia or are unable to access text due to changes in their brains.

You can assist them by reading to them, going over vocabulary words, re-introducing sounds, allowing them to read books on their reading level, and using picture books to keep them engaged.
