Chancez NFP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to uplifting our community through compassion, connection, and service. We support individuals and families who are often overlooked and underheard — working to remove barriers rooted in poverty, mental health challenges, and lack of access to opportunity. Through Chancez, we meet people where they are — on the streets, in shelters, and at community events — offering food, clothing, housing referrals, and most importantly, hope. Our focus goes beyond immediate relief; we empower residents to reclaim their voices, restore dignity, and shape their own paths forward. By bringing together volunteers, local organizations, and neighbors, Chancez is building a stronger, kinder Elgin — one act of love at a time.

Oookaaay… ❤️ This day was truly something special.
Our Love Thy Neighbor Community Cookout was filled with so much laughter, love, fellowship, good food, and beautiful moments. Over 100 people came through, and seeing everyone enjoying themselves, eating, laughing, and just being together made every bit of the work worth it.🤍
We truly cannot thank everyone who poured into this day enough. Because of your generosity and willingness to serve, our friends were able to enjoy themselves in abundance💛
This video captures just a little piece of what God allowed us to experience. And honestly… my heart is full. A special shout out to Rodrigo Villagomez for capturing these moments so beautifully.

P.S. Did you peep the young man serving and even cutting hair? 👀❤️ That’s what it’s all about—watching the next generation learn what it means to serve, give back, and love their neighbor. Those are the moments that make my our hearts full!🥹💛

We are excited for tomorrow and ready to share a day filled with good food, fellowship, laughter, and love.

Rain or shine, the Love Thy Neighbor Cookout is happening! ☀️
We’re so excited to bring a little sunshine to our friends who truly deserve a day of peace, a moment of rest, and a chance to feel seen, and loved.
Whether we’re gathering inside or outside, the purpose remains the same: community, connection, kindness, and love.❤️

A powerful day serving our community alongside some incredible partners. 🤍
Because of the generosity of SBF Chicago, and Food For Friends, we were able to distribute 150 care bags to individuals and families experiencing homelessness throughout the city. From the Lexington Hotel to the river and nearby parks, every bag was a reminder that people are seen, valued, and cared for.
Thank you for helping us bring hope and compassion—each bag reflected care, dignity, and love. We’re grateful to serve together.
