📱 Visual schedule apps (like Choiceworks or First-Then Visual Schedule) for building predictability into the day
🎧 Discreet ear defenders (brands like Loop or Vibes) for kids who want them low-profile
🗣️ AAC apps (like Proloquo2Go) for kids building communication skills

Happy first day of fall! 🍁 Cooler weather, scratchy sweaters, crunchy leaves, pumpkin-spice everything — fall brings a lot of sensory input. A few tips for the season: let your child choose their own jacket texture, preview new fall activities with photos first, and build in extra transition time between excitement and quiet downtime.

A calm-down corner doesn't need much: a soft place to sit, one or two comfort items, dim or adjustable lighting, and permission to use it without asking. The goal isn't to hide big feelings — it's to give them somewhere safe to land.
