For 80 years, the Elgin Master Chorale has brought singers and audiences together for extraordinary music. This season, we’re celebrating with two monumental works that have to be experienced live.

🔥 CARMINA BURANA
November 8 & 15, 2026

You know “O Fortuna.” Now hear it the way it was meant to be heard: live, with the full force of the Elgin Master Chorale and Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra filling the Blizzard Theatre.

And if you like to plan ahead…

🎼 BEETHOVEN’S MISSA SOLEMNIS
April 25, 2027

One of Beethoven’s greatest achievements and one of the most ambitious works in the choral repertoire, performed with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra.

Two masterworks. Two incredible collaborations. One monumental season.

Tickets are on sale now. Start with Carmina Burana this November, and while you’re there, make plans to join us for Missa Solemnis in April.

Here’s to 80 years of making music together. We can’t wait to share what comes next.

What a way to kick off our 80th season! 🎶

Last week, singers came together for three incredible nights of music-making at EMC’s Summer Singing Academy. We sang, learned, laughed, sharpened our skills, and got a first taste of the music ahead—including the mighty Carmina Burana!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, whether you’re a longtime EMC member or stepped into the room for the very first time. There is something pretty special about a room full of people choosing to spend their summer evenings making music together.

This was JUST THE BEGINNING!

🎶🍺 B**r Choir is coming to Black & Gray Brewing Co.! 🍺🎶

Raise your glass and your voice with the Elgin Master Chorale at B**r Choir on Saturday, September 5, from 1–3 PM!

No auditions. No experience. Just great b**r, great people, and a fun afternoon of singing together. Bring your friends, grab a pint, and join us for an unforgettable community event.
