DAK Solutions

This Memorial Day weekend, let us pause, reflect and honor the courageous men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Meet John Jiambalvo, National Sales Manager. John has been on the DAK Project Management team for 12 years, completing projects from Idaho to Southern Kentucky and many places in between. John provides turnkey warehouse solutions, and most recently completed a large structural rack project inside a -40-degree freezer!

Thank you for your dedication to the team, John!

A global leader in porous material development & manufacturing faced an extremely tight deadline to dismantle existing equipment and install new equipment in a new facility. Thanks to the extreme project ownership of our Project Manager and the dedication and flexibility of the installation crew, the DAK team was able to install 4,700 pallet positions in 6 days.

Safety first, safety always. Talk to a DAK project manager about our safety & protection solutions. https://www.dak-solutions.com/contact/

Our customer, a distributor of consumer home goods, was experiencing a backlog of orders and needed to speed up fulfillment. DAK proposed a combination of technologies, including:
- Automated carton building
- Automated label application
- Pick-to-light
- High capacity staging lane storage line storage
- Automated sealing and labeling

They expanded storage space by 10%, lowered per package costs by 50%, increased throughput by 25% and gained a 55% cost savings per order. Most importantly, they were able to take control of backorders, reducing backorders by 25% in four weeks.

Sometimes the biggest problem in a warehouse can be something that seems small, like damaged rack. Since pallet rack is the foundation of a warehouse, it's important to keep it in the best shape possible to operate a safe and effective facility.

We recently finished a project for Prospect Fastener Corporation that incorporated 27 Worldwide Material Handling rack repair kits and double-high end-of-aisle protection to ensure the repaired racking stays in top shape.
