Some people lead quietly—and their service speaks volumes.
Congratulations to Bob Blumberg, who was recognized with an award from Rotary District 5340 Governor Jeb Bake for exemplifying Service Above Self.
When asked to nominate a deserving Rotarian, Encinitas Rotary President Brian Driscoll chose Bob for his quiet dedication, long history with our club, and the wholehearted effort he brings to every project he takes on.
Bob never seeks the spotlight, but we’re delighted to shine it on him. Thank you, Bob, for leading by example and giving so much to our club and community.

We were honored to have Lisa and Tie as our guest speakers at last week’s Encinitas Rotary meeting. They gave a great presentation on how Project Next prepares high school seniors for life after graduation by helping them identify their strengths, explore trade and college pathways, and navigate post-secondary planning while still in school.
Thank you, Lisa and Tie, for visiting us and making a difference in the lives of North County youth!
