Happy birthday Jay Krist. I have some great memories with that man. He was the first commercial fisherman we bought bluefin, yellowtail, seabass, halibut and wahoo from. In May 2015 he said to me, “Get your tuna gun ready.” Me: “For what?” Jay: There’s big bluefin!” Me: “You’re tripping.” The following month I shot a 150 off his boat 7 miles off Carlsbad. I’ll never forget that. RIP Jay. ❤️🐟
