Silver Linings Transitions specializes in seniors but our services are universal. Whether you have an aging parent or are busy living life, we can break your move into manageable pieces saving you time, aggravation and money. Once we know where you'll be going, we'll work with you to create a space plan for what will realistically fit into your new home. Then working off this plan, we'll break down your move and identify what to do with what won't fit. Whether you'd like to sell, ship or donate your belongings, we can handle all of it with your wishes in mind. Prior to packing, we organize your belongings so that when we unpack you, everything will be neat and organized and your space won't be taken up with multiples or broken items. A day or two days before "MOVE DAY", our team will come in and efficiently pack your belongings. If you are moving locally and use our preferred movers, you won't need to pay for boxes. On MOVE DAY, you stay away and play. We'll work off the floor plan and get your home unpacked, settled, organized and decorated. When you come home, you'll have the toothbrush in the holder, the coffee pot on the counter and food in your refrigerator. If you need to sell your home, we'll work with you on a marketing strategy to effectively sell your home PLUS we'll PACK your entire home for your move. Whether you need the services of Realtor or someone to handle the logistics of the packing and unpacking,
you will find compassion, understanding and security working with Silver Linings Transitions. Moving you toward a brighter tomorrow. Silver Linings Transitions Services Include:
Coordination of real estate sales and services or working alongside a preferred agent
Home staging and marketing the home for maximum impact
Developing a detailed moving plan
Organizing, sorting, labeling, packing and shipping
Customized floor planning and space design for the new residence
Unpacking and setting up new surroundings
Coordinating storage, estate sales and donations
Scheduling and overseeing movers
Arranging for cleaning, waste removal, utilities transfers, etc. Photos organized and preserved. We can also create albums and slide shows. Prior to affiliation with the National Association of Senior Move Managers, Jami, Silver Linings Transitions' Owner worked for 10 years as a Realtor in Florida. Working with many clients facing foreclosure gave her the experience to handle each client with She also started and is president of the Temple Solel Sisterhood.

There’s always more to learn, even when you’re leading the room.
Our founder Jami Shapiro is in Indianapolis serving as NASMM President, connecting with move managers from across the country and helping guide conversations about how our industry can better serve clients and families.
Jami led the NASMM Board of Directors meeting yesterday, strategizing ways to better support members and their businesses. Today brought deeper learning through pre-conference sessions, followed by welcoming 71 first-time attendees and reconnecting with friends and colleagues at the expo.
Two days in, and there are already plenty of ideas to bring home to the SLT team.

On my way to my 13th NASMM conference. Although I am always excited to go and love being with my fellow move managers and learning how to improve our business and how we serve our clients, I am especially excited for this year’s conference as I am the President of this amazing association. Moving is about so much more than packing and unpacking boxes and that is why the National Association of Senior & Specialty Move Managers holds an annual conference and requires continuing education.
