Is age really the biggest factor in your fertility?
Our 20s bring great egg quality, but that doesn’t mean your fertility has to decline in your late 30s. Toxins, food, and inflammation all impact how quickly your eggs age... and you have the power to change that.

Jeanne Calment lived to 122, and her secret was being social, staying active, and living stress-free.
I’m not recommending smoking or drinking. But health may be simpler than we think. Visit a friend, go for a walk, have some fun. There’s no perfection when it comes to your health.

Do your eggs really not have a biological clock?
I’m not sure I 100% agree... A study on mitochondrial DNA is only one piece of the puzzle when it comes to ovarian aging.
Your age on the calendar is one factor, but it’s not something you can control.
What you CAN focus on is your stress, your nutrition, and how you move your body. And knowing where your fertility stands today helps you see what, if anything, needs to change.

When a couple struggles to conceive, the mouth is rarely part of the workup. Two oral bacteria strains, porphyromonas gingivalis and fusobacterium nucleatum, are closely tied to fertility issues, miscarriage, and problems with the uterine lining.
A saliva test can check for them in both partners, since the male side can contribute too.

Women in your 30s, should you freeze your eggs?
Well it depends… I don’t think egg freezing should be something every woman does simply because she turned 30.
But I also don’t think women should wait until they’re 40 to learn that egg quality has changed and then wish they’d explored their options earlier.
This isn’t a one-size fits all answer…
And your fertility isn’t a one size fits all answer either…
You need to find what works for YOU, not the average 30 year old woman.

Here are 5 signs of high fertility in women…
1. Cervical mucus changes.
As you approach ovulation, you may notice your cervical fluid becoming clearer, wetter and more stretchy… often described as looking like egg whites.
That’s your body’s way of creating an environment that’s much more favorable for s***m.
2. You notice a change your energy and libido have increased
Some women notice they’re more energetic, social or interested in s*x around ovulation.
That’s not a fertility test, but it can be a useful clue when you look at it alongside everything else happening in your cycle.
3. Body temperature increases after ovulation
Your basal body temperature typically rises slightly after ovulation because of the increase in progesterone…
So if you’re tracking your temperature, a sustained shift can help confirm that ovulation likely occurred.
4. Your cycles are relatively regular for you.
For most adult women, cycles between roughly 21 and 35 days can be normal.
What’s more important than chasing one perfect number is knowing YOUR individual normal and noticing when that pattern starts changing…
5. Your periods are relatively smooth and aren’t something you have to dread every month.
Extremely heavy bleeding, and significant pain shouldn’t be treated as normal and are signs that you should get checked…
But the important thing is none of these signs alone can tell me how fertile you are…
They give me clues about your reproductive health and whether you’re likely ovulating but they aren’t a 100% guarantee.
The real key is digging deep into your hormones and seeing what specific levels are off in your body…
And that varies between individuals.
