Very proud and humbled to be continuing my partnership with for another year.π₯π
I love the work I get to do, and I'm grateful to have their continued support using their equipment to bring new ideas to life.
Looking forward to sharing the next round of projects with you - what should I build next?π

Well this is a first β I'm in USA Today π°
I'm honored to have played a small part in 's Project REBORN. The replacement frame needed 3 inches cut out and welded back together just right so the '79 K30 body would sit on it β tight timeline, but we got it there.
Here's what matters: this truck goes to auction at the Red Bird Games, and the money it raises goes to β funding research for congenital heart disease and supporting families walking through it. CHD is one of the most common birth defects there is, and it's severely underfunded. That's what this build is really about.
Grateful to be a small piece of something bigger. π
What's a cause that's close to your heart? π

Zoom in - this is where the hours live.
20 macros π·from the bench: welds, weaves, textures.
From some of my pieces about out to the incredibly talented Mike Conway Photography for most of these, I'm sure you can tell which are his π
Tell me which one's your favorite?
Thousands of steel rods. Thousands of welds. One human form.
This is The Inner Man, built entirely by hand, one piece at a time. What do you see when you look at it?
BICENTENNIAL REFLECTION - Part 1:
From Sketch to Steel
It started with a sketch.
Part one of the build documentary for *Bicentennial Reflection* - the sculpture I built for Erie Insurance's
100-year milestone.
From hand sketches to CAD to the first cut of steel, this is where it all began. Meet Ray, my partner and secret weapon, and lead engineer
Winklmann - the minds behind the math that made this thing stand up.
More on the piece at stempkadesigns.com.
Part two takes you into the shop. What do you want to see next - the welding or the copper work?
From the workshop to its permanent home.
The short documentary following the creation of Centennial Reflection is now live on YouTube.
Come behind the scenes with meβfrom the design work to shaping the metal and installing the finished sculpture. Huge thank you to Adam Paluh for filming and directing this ! Adam Stempka
100 years deserves more than a plaque.
This is Bicentennial Reflection - a sculpture I built for 's 100th anniversary. What started as a design on paper and render on a monitor turned into months of stainless, brass, and copper... domes, columns, mirror-polished everything, and more hours of hand-finishing than I'll ever admit π
This documentary follows the whole build - from the first sketch to the moment she came together in the shop. Honored doesn't even cover it.
Which do you want next - the full build series, or the install reveal reveal?
