The people who work from home but have zoom calls all day.

The puppy parents who need someone to help break up a long day.

The families with kids, sports, appointments, and a calendar that never seems to slow down.

The people who are recovering from an injury.

The people who have multiple dogs and could just use an extra set of hands.

The people who are home all day but simply want their dog to have something fun to look forward to in the middle of the day.

There really isn’t one type of person who uses a dog walker.

Maybe you see yourself somewhere in this list. Maybe you don’t. Either way, we’re here when you need us😉🐾

We’re officially closing our Meet and Greet calendar for the remainder of 2026.

If you’ve been thinking about becoming a Barkside Bay client, this is your window to get in. Once our remaining Meet and Greet availability is filled, we will not be scheduling any additional new client Meet and Greets until the new year.

To our current clients: this does not change anything for you. ❤️ Your existing care, scheduling, and ability to request services remain exactly as they are. We’re simply pressing pause on bringing new families through the door so we can focus on taking excellent care of the families already inside it.

For the last 3 years, Fletcher and Cordelia have walked together every single week and somewhere along the way, their weekly walks turned into a true friendship.

Cordelia has been with Barkside Bay from the very beginning and watching the relationship she’s built with Fletcher over the years is one of those things that makes our team so special. She knows him, understands him, loves his quirks, and has been a consistent part of his life for the last few years.

We talk a lot about how special our team is, but this is exactly why. Our walkers don’t just show up, take a dog for a walk, and leave. They become familiar, trusted faces in these dogs’ lives. They build relationships and we proudly become your dog’s “village.”❤️

Our team gets to become a small but meaningful part of so many pets’ lives, and sometimes, those relationships turn into something really beautiful. “Fletchy,” as we lovingly call him, and Cordelia are a perfect example❤️

A little post storm cleanup never stopped these pups from getting their Thursday adventures in! 🌳🐾

Thanks to the City of Erie and local crews, roads were open and cleared quickly this morning, so our team was able to stay right on schedule with visits. The dogs were happy to get outside, stretch their legs, collect some sticks, and investigate all the new fallen tree scenery😂

We’ll keep an eye on the next round of storms today and continue to put safety first⛈️

There are worse things to be surrounded by🤷🏻‍♀️

This review is exactly why we want owners of reactive or strong dogs to know: your dog does NOT have to be perfect on leash to walk with us.

We work with reactive dogs, strong pullers, excitable dogs, nervous dogs, and everything in between! In fact, many of our clients tell us that their dogs become so much easier to walk after working with us because consistency, confidence, and the right handling really do make a difference.
