Battery Outlet

Happy National Lighthouse Day! Presque Isle's lighthouses have been guiding boats home on Lake Erie for generations — and this weekend they might earn their keep. Storms are rolling into Erie, so before they hit, swing by and let us take a look at your battery. Car, boat, doesn't matter — we'd rather catch a weak one now than have you stuck later.

Third-generation, family-owned, right here on Liberty Street for 45+ years.

Plot twist: summer is actually harder on your car battery than winter.

All this heat we've had this week speeds up the chemical reaction inside your battery, evaporates the fluid, and speeds up corrosion — so the battery that finally dies on a freezing January morning was often already weakened by a summer like this one.

If yours is 3+ years old, now's a smart time to get it tested before it turns into a no-start problem later. We carry American-made Deka batteries for pretty much anything with an engine, plus marine, powersport, and lawn & garden batteries — all under one roof.

Stop by 2825 Liberty Street (corner of W 29th & Liberty) or call us at (814) 868-7487. Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri 10:30am–6pm, Wed/Sat 10:30am–1pm.

We will be open today with limited hours to make sure everyone gets the motorcycle and boat batteries they may need for Memorial Day.

Stay safe with these crazy cold temperatures this week. Batteries tend to struggle with extreme cold so stay vigilant. Keep a battery jumper box in your car and prepare for the event of a battery failure especially with older batteries.

If you are looking for a low priced high quality DEKA car battery give us a call. We are happy to look up the battery your vehicle needs and give you a quote.
