The holidays are coming. Your porch called - it wants to look good for company 😂

Absolutely amazing what a fresh coat of paint and a few well-earned repairs can do! We brought this deck back to life with pressure washing, primer, and paint—but the work didn’t stop there.

We screwed down loose boards, replaced the ones beyond saving, added new wood to the railing, and installed fresh lattice skirting all around for a finished look.

Even better? This was a returning customer! Being trusted with your home once means a lot. Being invited back means even more.

Does your deck need some attention before the holiday gatherings begin? Send our page a message! We’d love to help make your home feel ready to welcome everyone.

✨ ONE NEW FLOOR. A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ROOM. ✨

We recently completed this beautiful luxury vinyl plank flooring installation, and the finished result speaks for itself. The warm, natural wood tones completely transformed the space, making it feel brighter, cleaner, and more inviting while perfectly complementing the home’s coastal character.

LVP is a great choice for homeowners who want the appearance of hardwood with the durability and easy maintenance needed for everyday life. But even the best flooring only looks as good as the installation, and those clean lines and polished details make all the difference.

As many of you already know, Done in a Day Contracting proudly serves homeowners throughout Harnett County and the surrounding areas, as well as Brunswick County and our coastal communities!

Step up your home game!
We just took this space from an eyesore to an absolute showstopper. We stripped away the old, tired paint, demoed all the hidden rotten wood, and brought the stairs back to life using premium cabinet-grade wood for a flawless foundation. To top off the fresh, ultra-crisp custom paint job, we also installed that gorgeous new lighting fixture! The final result is a breathtaking staircase that will WOW you every single time you set foot on a step.

Here at Done In A Day Contracting, we don't just build stairs, we transform homes. Whether you're looking for expert painting, flawless LVP flooring installation, reliable handyman services, or a full home renovation, we’ve got the skills to make it happen.

The right lighting doesn’t just brighten a space, it completely changes the way it feels. For this beachfront wedding, DDC installed beautifully arranged string lights that brought warmth, romance, and a little extra magic to an already incredible setting. From weddings and milestone birthdays to backyard cookouts and family celebrations, we can create a custom lighting setup that makes any occasion feel truly special. If you have an event coming up, reach out and let us help create an atmosphere your guests will remember long after the lights go out.

A fresh set of custom-built front stair railings can completely transform a home's curb appeal—and that's exactly what we accomplished on this project.

For this homeowner, we:
✔️ Built and installed a brand-new wood railing
✔️ Primed and painted both railings for a mirrored, clean, durable finish
✔️ Ensured the finished product was solid, safe, and built to last

The bright white finish pairs perfectly with the home's exterior and gives the entryway a clean, modern look while improving safety and functionality.

At DDC, we believe in doing things the right way—not the easy way. Quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and leaving every job looking better than when we arrived is what we're all about.

If your porch, deck, or stair railings are worn out, loose, or just need an updated look, we'd love to help.

We are absolutely thrilled with how this painting project turned out!! We kind of want to paint all the walls in our own homes black now! But what makes this transformation even better is the incredible client behind it. Nathan Trotter was an absolute pleasure to work with, bringing a clear vision and genuine passion to creating a welcoming, professional space for his clients at Revolution Mind and Body LLC in Clayton! We highly recommend checking out his amazing new office! If you're looking to elevate your own commercial or residential space with a flawless finish [whether it's a bold accent wall or a complete refresh] the team at Done In A Day Contracting has you covered. Done Once, Done Right, Done in a Day!
