✨I help families create peaceful birth experiences 🕊️

09/30/2026

With my first, where I felt pain in birth was where I had fear.

That doesn't mean if you go in without fear, you won't experience pain.

But in the absence of pain, we can create it with fear.

Or, in the presence of pain, we can worsen it with fear.

It's not about overcoming your fear.

It's about building a relationship with it so it doesn't take over in the moment.

Fear creates tension.

Tension can make us brace, clench, resist, and fight what the body is trying to do.

That's why, if you want to have an unmedicated birth, emotional preparation is one of the best things you can do.

✨My private coaching clients achieve birth outcomes 9x better than the national average.✨

You don't need generic advice, you need a strategy.

Brooklyn says: “Finding Victoria was truly a blessing.

She holds the families in her community in such a sacred way.

There is a steadiness and reverence in her spirit that immediately creates trust and safety.

She is incredibly knowledgeable, articulate, and deeply informed.

I left her classes not only educated far beyond what a typical birth course provides, but genuinely inspired. I understood my options, my autonomy, and how to advocate for myself with clarity and confidence.

And she helped dig roots in preparation for the inner emotional work I would need to do for my birth- offering many tools.

This was huge!

When my labor unfolded differently than I had planned and I ended up choosing an epidural,

I did not feel like I had failed. I felt empowered to make an informed decision and remain connected to my experience.

My birth was still meaningful and sacred.

I am so happy I had guidance beforehand to surrender this experience and put my fears, and expectations aside.

Victoria is an incredible gift to this community and a wholehearted advocate for women.

I am deeply grateful for her guidance during such a transformative time in my life.”

There is something contradictory about saying we take steps to reduce the risk for tearing when all those steps actually increase the risk for tears.

First, we put her in the position that gives the provider the best view.

Then we tell her how and when to push.

We manipulate the tissue and pull to get the baby out.

And somehow all of that is presented as protecting the perineum.

Even though research and evidence show that birthing on your back, provider hands-on, and directed pushing increase the risk for tearing.

✨91% of my private coaching clients did not tear.✨

You don't need generic advice, you need a strategy.

One of the biggest misconceptions about birth is that the pain just gets worse and worse until the baby comes out.

That’s not how birth always works.

I’ve had births where one part was incredibly painful and another part felt completely manageable.

I’ve had babies move and completely change the sensation I was feeling.

I’ve had active labor feel easier than early labor.

So if something is hard right now, that does not mean it’s going to stay hard.

You don’t have to cope with the rest of your birth right now.

You only have to cope with this moment.

Your body knows what to do.

Birth is instinctive.

If your body is telling you to move one way or do something, listen.

You do not need to abandon your instincts because a different position is more convenient for someone else.

Or because someone told you that a certain position is the best one to support progress.

Birth preparation is not all about gaining knowledge.

It is about learning to trust yourself enough to follow what your body is asking for.

Bet you didn’t see this narrative from the movies.

Did you know that birth could be joyful like this?

That it is not inherently scary or traumatic?

Birth can be one of the most beautiful experiences of your life. ♥️

The Cornell case isn’t only about the seven rapists.

The lawsuit describes Snapchat messages shared while it was happening. So I want to know who had a chance to intervene and chose to do nothing?

There needs to be accountability for everyone involved, including the bystanders.

We have a responsibility to our children to build communities where sexual assault is taken seriously.

Where boys learn that silence has consequences.

Where they know that if someone is being harmed, they step in or get help.

That culture won’t change if we only ask what seven men did. We have to ask why everyone who knew allowed it to happen, and what we’re going to do about it.

Call Cornell’s Office of the President: (607) 255-5201.

Demand a full investigation and accountability for everyone found responsible.

No more slaps on the wrist.

Birth education is way too focused on information and not nearly focused enough on what happens when fear shows up in the body.

You can know all the right things.

You can know what positions you want.

You can know how you want to breathe.

And still struggle when labor asks you to surrender.

That’s why I care so much about internal preparation.

Can you notice fear without letting it take over?

Can you stay connected to your body when your mind starts spiraling?

Can you relax when everything in you wants to tense?

Can you trust what’s happening when you can’t control the next moment?

That’s the deeper work.

And honestly, that’s the part that makes all the difference.

She says: “I am a nurse who has seen firsthand how so many providers don’t trust or understand physiological birth.

I sought out midwifery care with an incredible midwife who trusts physiologic birth.

I ended up having a 10lb13oz baby boy without tearing and with the guidance of my midwife during pushing.

Under care of a provider who doesn’t trust women’s bodies, I fear I would’ve been forced to induce or go straight to c section because my baby was big.

Instead, I had the most magical birth experience with the best provider who knew exactly what I needed and wanted (lots of guidance with pushing to prevent tearing, lots of reassurance, hands on during pushing). It was just the best!

Thank you for all you do!”
