I spent last week in the beautiful Oregon wilderness, just like I do every September. I’ll admit, I never look forward to the 7 to 8 hour drive to get there, but the moment I arrive and am surrounded by everything the forest has to offer, I instantly relax and soak in the beauty around me. The views are absolutely breathtaking.
It’s always nice to step away from the office for a bit. A week off still includes some work for me, but a lot less than when I’m there every day. I guess I need to find somewhere more remote with even less cell service. 😉
One of the coolest things to witness is when the cowboys begin rounding up the free range cattle and moving them to pasture. Watching them guide an entire herd down the road, with their hardworking dogs helping keep everything in line, is pretty neat in my book. In all the years I’ve been going there, I’ve only seen it happen twice, and this year was one of those times.

Friday’s question of the day was wildly one‑sided. Only one brave soul chose car horn. Even then, they clarified it only counts if it’s the horn from the General Lee. Honestly, laughing “Dixie” would be unforgettable.
But the rest of us? We’re fully committed to laughing like goats. 🐐
