This weekend, we celebrate the hardworking employees, volunteers, and job trainees who keep our mission moving—and the incredible community that makes it all possible.

Because of you, technology stays out of landfills, affordable computers reach people who might otherwise go without, and individuals facing barriers gain valuable job skills, confidence, and real-world experience.

We will be closed for Labor Day so our hardworking team can enjoy a well-deserved break. Thank you for helping us build a greener, more connected community—one NextStep at a time! 💚

NextStep was proud to donate 12 laptops to The Hope Project’s After School Program, helping give local students the technology they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

A huge thank you to Ken Brown and The Hope Project for the incredible work they’re doing for kids in our community. We love seeing technology get a second life—especially when that second life helps create brighter futures. 💙

This is what community looks like: organizations working together, resources going where they’re needed, and kids getting more opportunities to thrive.

💚 Restoring Lives. Regaining Hope.

This past weekend, NextStep had the pleasure of being one of the sponsors of the Eugene Mission’s inaugural car show!

One especially meaningful moment happened when we met a Mission participant who recently lost everything—including his beloved stereo equipment—in a fire. NextStep happened to be displaying a newly donated speaker, and through our Technology Scholarship Program, we were honored to provide him with an even better speaker than the one he lost.

This is why NextStep exists: to connect people with technology they might not otherwise be able to afford—and sometimes, the right person and the right donation meet at exactly the right moment.

We’re also excited to begin developing a job-readiness and computer-skills class specifically for Eugene Mission R3 participants.

Thank you to the Eugene Mission, every sponsor who helped make this incredible event possible, everyone who brought out their cars and motorcycles, and all the spectators who joined the fun!

We are better together—and together, we’re unstoppable. 💚

More than 100 people came out to support NextStep’s Karaoke Pint Night at Claim 52! Friends, families, children, local businesses, longtime supporters, new friends, and brand-new faces all showed up to sing, dance, laugh, raise a pint, and support NextStep.

A huge thank-you to Claim 52 and Jeremy for welcoming us, and to Rick Moore and Rising Phoenix Productions for keeping the music, laughter, and fun going all night long!

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this event such a success—and yes, we will be back!
