10 years ago today marks my first live act as Tethys. This was in the streets of Lancaster, PA as part of Music for Everyone where performers filled the streets with different acts. I had been a studio-only guy before this but I finally had taken the leap and have been performing live ever since. It has been such a journey evolving on the stage. Thanks to all who support me in what I do and being a part of it.

Updates: As of right now, I do not have any shows booked until July. If offered, I’ll certainly take on another show, but I’m using this time now to focus on other projects I’ve been meaning to wrap up for future performances. The other side of my time is focused on finishing this new record. It’s the longest record I’ve ever worked on, so it’s taking me quite some time. I’m shooting for December for a release date. This will also give me time to make plenty of physical media for you all as well. I do plan on being more active here with my music. As of late it’s just been sharing art and memes but I assure you there will be plenty of sounds. Thanks for reading. Hugs and kisses.

6 years ago today, I had my first performance in the PNW as Tethys. I was living at a friends house, still acquiring a job, and saved up just enough cash from odds and ends jobs to get a pack of strings for my guitar and bass. I borrowed a mixer and a folding table from a friend to get me going. I rehearsed on the floor in my tiny room and threw together the show.

Prior to this, I only played a few street shows in Pennsylvania but it wasn’t a venue or anything and I had things set up much differently then. I had played venues in other bands before my solo work but this was my first time really doing it on my own. I was nervous as hell, but the reception was kind and it inspired me to keep going.

Now 6 years later, I have played a good amount of stages with so many beautifully talented people that I have the honor of calling my friends. I’m so happy with this life and what I can now do for all of you. Thank you, my friends, for supporting me in everything. Without you, I wouldn’t be here doing this now. Love, Frankie.
