Eugene Science Center was founded in 1961 as a branch of the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI). It was incorporated in 1977 as the Willamette Science & Technology Center (WISTEC), an independent 501(c)(3) corporation. This listening session pairs the album with a unique immersive laser show designed by Laser Fantasy. This presentation offers its own atmospheric perspective that turns your first listen into a shared sonic and visual experience.
Please note: All phones, smart watches, recording and filming devices will be secured in Yondr pouches upon arrival/entrance into the planetarium. You will keep the Yondr pouch with you, and can access your devices once you leave the planetarium. Guests who use recording devices during the event will be escorted out of the planetarium. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free listening experience.

Ahead of its worldwide release on August 14th via Dead Oceans, Phoebe Bridgers' newest album Lost Weekend will debut in full inside planetariums around the globe.
Each listening session pairs the album with a unique immersive laser show designed by Laser Fantasy. This presentation offers its own atmospheric perspective that turns your first listen into a shared sonic and visual experience.
Note: This is not a performance, and Phoebe Bridgers will not be in attendance.

We are excited to announce that Yoga Under the Stars returns to Eugene Science Center in September! Led by local instructors, this one-hour class is held in the planetarium with stars, planets, moons, and nebulae overhead on the dome. Stay to socialize with a glass of wine after class. August Member Show: Beyond the Sun
Join young Celeste on an inspiring journey through the universe to discover what exoplanets are and how they can be detected. This planetarium show features stunning visualizations of some of the different types of exoplanets that have been discovered including hot Jupiters, rogue planets, and super-Earths.
