Poet, writer, and educator Ana Marie Boyd released her new book, Tiny Altars: Poems on Grief and Beholding, in August.

In her own words, Tiny Altars is a book centered around experiences of grief and loss in liminal spaces. It examines the grief experience, particularly when there are no witnesses for our grief. The words in Boyd’s poems act as witnesses, and find other witnesses in our lives that can emerge when we least expect them to.

There's a genre to suit readers of every taste: memoir, children's books, history, historical fiction, writing and journaling prompts, poetry, books "written" by cats, and spicy fantasy books to keep it ... interesting. You'll discover new genres, learn about hybrid/ indie/ DIY publishing, record and take home your own two-minute audio reading, and become part of Florence’s vibrant coastal writing community.
