Our Native American Student Association celebrated Commencement with their students in the Longhouse with a blanketing ceremony.
During the blanketing ceremony, graduates are honored with a wool blanket—a meaningful symbol of community, support, accomplishment, and enduring intertribal traditions.
Congratulations, NASA grads!
Demolition begins on the walkway near Buildings 15 & 16. Building 15 will also undergo renovation. Look forward to a more modern, safe, and beautiful campus this fall!
And thank you 2020 Bond voters for bringing these much needed improvements to campus!

Here are some amazing stats about our graduating class of 1,383:
- The youngest is 17 and the oldest is 69.
- 59% are first generation (no parent or guardian with a 4-year college degree)
- There are international students from 18 countries, from Australia to Uzbekistan, with most students from Japan and South Africa.
- 45% are earning transfer degrees and are ready to continue their studies at university.
- 55% are earning terminal degrees or certificates and are ready to hit the workforce.

Congrats to Everett Heegard! This aviation student received the President's Award and he is our newest PT flight instructor at LCC!
The Aviation Academy also celebrated their end of the year with a barbecue in the hanger. What better way to welcome summer?
