LAST-MINUTE COMMUNITY REQUEST! WE NEED EVENT VOLUNTEERS & FIXERS FOR THIS SUNDAY, SEPT. 20!

Q: Do you like to participate in fun community events that bring people together?
Q: Do you appreciate the value of keeping repairable items out of the landfills?
Q: Do you know how to fix things like lamps and small appliances, or sharpen dull knives, axes, or garden tools?

Waste Wise Lane County is teaming up with BRING and Lane Transit District to bring you a Fix-It Fair on this Sunday from 11:30-2:00 at BRING (4446 Franklin Blvd., Eugene). For more information, visit https://www.fixitlanecounty.org/event-details/springfield-fix-it-fair-at-bring

• We are currently seeking experienced fixers to participate in the event. All fixers will receive a stipend ($).
• As of this post, we would like to find (1) small appliance fixer; (1) tool sharpener; (1) lamp repair person.
• We are also seeking volunteers to staff a registration table, guide attendees to fixers, and break down the event.
