Hope Community
Real hope is found in Jesus. A church to find, enjoy, and share hope in community.

Waiting can make us cynical.
We start wondering if God has forgotten.
If the promise still stands.
If anything is actually coming.
But Scripture gives us another way to see the delay.
Patience.
Mercy.
An open invitation to repent.

This is one of the tender warnings of Matthew 25.
You can be near faith.
Near church.
Near Christian people.
And still need to personally come to Jesus.
He is not far off.
He invites you to know Him.
It is possible to be near Christian things and still not personally know Jesus.
That is a hard mercy.
Because Jesus tells the truth before the door closes.

Jesus does not tell us when he will return.
He tells us how to live while we wait.
Not anxious.
Not asleep.
Ready and faithful.

Sunday is calling.
Coffee will be ready.
Your kids do not need matching socks.
Your week does not need to have gone perfectly.
Just come.
We’ll worship, open Scripture, and look to Jesus together.

The gospel is better than self-improvement.
God did not wait for us to become impressive.
He saw us in our sin, loved us, and sent Jesus for us.
That means your hope is not in how well you can hold yourself together.
Your hope is in the mercy of Jesus.

This line stayed with us from Sunday.
We are not waiting for an idea.
We are waiting for Jesus.
And while we wait, he calls us to be ready.
If you do not know Jesus yet, you do not have to wait until you feel ready.
You do not have to fix everything first.
You do not have to have the perfect words.
You can come to him honestly, right where you are.
Jesus is patient, kind, and able to save.
There is a kindness in the patience of God.
He does not rush past us. He does not give up on us. He keeps calling us back to himself.
If there is something you have been putting off, repentance is not running toward shame. It is coming home to mercy.
