Brewnique
The official home of Hop Beerings. Upcycled jewelry and goods.
Brewnique Independent Craft Gear is a small business based in the mountains of Colorado bringing a fresh, unique, and fun perspective to beer-related gear from jewelry to clothing. Brewnique was founded by Dev Adams, also known as Miss Lupulin, an Advanced Cicerone, writer, and artist. Focusing mostly on saving items that would normally be discarded, the journey to Brewnique started with upcycled earrings (called Beerings) made out of craft beer cans, and has recently branched out into upcycling clothing.

Some of the pretty lil things I'm bringing to the Lady Justice Brewing LGB**rTQ Pride Party this Saturday. These are the mini-versions of my B**rings, which I affectionately refer to as "B**rlings", and can be their own earrings, dangles below my large B**rings, as cuffs for ears or beards or locs, or as badges! So many uses for these tiny little gems. As always, if you don't see the combo you love, I will be doing customs the day-of as well (of these and my original B**rings).
π»
Fun fact: did you know that most of my large B**rings can have a dangle added to them, and that you can customize them? Ask me how when you come and see me!

In five days join me at Lady Justice Brewing for the LGB**rTQ Pride Party where I will have my B**rings PLUS a bunch of new, fun goodies fresh from my studio (aka my kitchen counter π
).
πΊ
In addition to a great vendor market, it IS a party, so there will be live music and DJs, food trucks, and a bunch of guest breweries for a kick-the-keg competition! Noon until 8pm on Saturday the 27th, tickets on Lady J's website.

I am super stoked to be returning to Lady Justice Brewing for their LGBEERTQ Pride Party!
I will have B**rings in a rainbow of colors like green and other colors of green and... well... rainbow! I will also badges, bones, and other upcycled and salvaged goodies to introduce a teensy bit of whimsy into this crazy world.
As we get closer I will have some previews of what I'm cooking up (in one case, kind of literally), so stay tuned!

Years ago, my dear friend watch the while we were out of town for a b**r fest. Nox decided that a corncob that was securely stored in her lunch bag sounded like a mighty tasty treat and chomped it right down. She spent the morning giving him hydrogen peroxide while begging him to please barf up the offending vegetable core. He was a husky so, naturally, he chose to do anything but what she asked. He ended up expelling the cob safely, but I'm pretty sure my friend was scarred for life.
π½
When Nox died at the beginning of this month, she sent us a care package from . That level of thoughtfulness, especially because she knows how much I adore good (nay, great) rolls and soup made me feel so seen and, therefore, loved. Although I am a bit sad she didn't choose a corn chowder π
π²
As a thank you, I drew this Perro de Colima-inspired portrait of Nox and his ill-begotten corn. I hope it brings her a giggle and reminds her that friendship may sometimes be messy, but it's also beautiful. I am so beyond lucky to have friends like her.

Art is political. B**r is political. Existence is political; opting out is privilege. We must stand together with our family, friends, and neighbors today and everyday.

Did you know that only around 10-14% of every dollar you spend with a large, national chain or online stays in your local economy?
πͺ
If that doesn't sit well with you, don't fret! There is something you can do to directly support your local community. Shop with local, small businesses where 60-75% of your money stays in the community!
π΅
An easy way to support multiple small businesses at once is coming to artisan markets at breweries. You can shop for unique, fun, handmade goods while drinking locally made b**r! Wins all around.
π
Here are the upcoming markets where you can grab some great gifts (for yourself or others) like original and mini B**ringsβ’, B**ring badges, objects de arte, and some very special, custom items I'm premiering for the first time. All goodies are crafted by me from salvaged, rescued, and upcycled items, which makes each piece special for you and for the earth.
