Susan Brubaker has been in the custom sewing and alterations business for 30+ years. Her experience includes working at several bridal shops in New York and the Woolrich Clothing Company. Susan is a long time resident of the mountain community and has owned her own alterations business for many years. I remodeled the bride’s mother’s dress into a stylish dress with detachable train for her rehearsal dinner outfit ❣️
Also made a choker necklace from the appliqué from Mom’s dress, along with a garter
There wasn’t a dry eye 🥹

Many alterations to the dress to have it fit perfectly. Not the “typical “ alterations” due to her scoliosis. She felt so beautiful; left her mom and the groom in tears
