DAY 3: THE FINAL RIDE ❤️🚵‍♀️

We kicked off the final day of the Special Operations Adventure Foundation’s inaugural Women’s Retreat with a sunrise ride through the breathtaking Garden of the Gods. The ladies were absolutely stunned by the scenery! 🌄

Afterward, we returned to the Buffalo Lodge for some yoga by the pool before getting ready for the rest of the day. 🧘‍♀️

But as incredible as the scenery has been, the most remarkable part of these three days has been watching the bonds between these women grow stronger with every mile.

Just three days ago, many of these women had never met. Through riding, sweating, struggling, and overcoming challenges together, they’ve come out the other side stronger.

They’re leaving with more than memories of a great adventure. They’re leaving with a tribe, new friendships, and a connection with women who understand their experiences in ways few others can.

This is what the Special Operations Adventure Foundation is all about: RECONNECTING WARRIORS. RESTORING PURPOSE. ❤️

Tomorrow, we’ll say our goodbyes and head our separate ways, at least for now. But these connections don’t end when the retreat does. We’ll stay in touch, support one another, and come together again as often as we can.

What started as three days of mountain biking has become the beginning of lifelong friendships. We couldn’t be happier with how this retreat turned out!

🇺🇸 HELP US MAKE MORE RETREATS POSSIBLE!

We need your help to make future retreats happen. We’re looking for volunteers, donors, and partners willing to contribute financial support, equipment, supplies, facilities, services, or their time and talents.

Every contribution helps us create more opportunities for Special Operations veterans to reconnect, rebuild relationships, and discover they’re never alone in the next chapter of their lives.

Whether you donate, volunteer, provide resources, or share our mission, YOU can make a difference.

❤️ DONATE. VOLUNTEER. PARTNER WITH US.

🔥 DAY 2: THE TRAILS GOT HARDER. THE MILES GOT LONGER. THE BONDS GOT STRONGER. 🚵‍♀️💪

Day two of the Special Operations Adventure Foundation (SOAF) Women’s Retreat kicked things up a notch!

The miles were longer, the trails were tougher, and the challenges demanded more from everyone. But with every climb, technical section, and obstacle, something even more powerful was happening: our team was growing stronger.

Out on the trails, success isn’t measured by who finishes first. It’s measured by how we support one another, work together through the difficult sections, and make sure everyone crosses the finish line together. 🤝

That’s the power of shared challenges. Every obstacle overcome and every hand extended builds trust, strengthens relationships, and creates connections that can last a lifetime.

Our group is bonding in a way that goes far beyond mountain biking. These women are building friendships, rediscovering the strength of community, and reminding one another that none of us has to navigate life’s toughest trails alone.

❤️ THIS IS WHAT SOAF IS ALL ABOUT.

Reconnecting warriors. Restoring purpose. Building bonds that last long after the adventure ends.

🇺🇸 HELP US CONTINUE THE MISSION!

The Special Operations Adventure Foundation operates solely through donor funding. Every contribution helps us create meaningful outdoor experiences that bring Special Operations veterans together, strengthen relationships, and provide opportunities to reconnect with the community and purpose that can be difficult to find after military service.

You don’t have to be on the trail to make a difference. You can be part of the team that makes these experiences possible.

👉 Want to join the SOAF mission? Visit https://soafoundation.org and make a contribution today.

Please SHARE this post, INVITE your friends to follow our page, and help us spread the word. The more people who understand this mission, the more warriors we can reach.

Together, we can make a difference. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 DAY ONE. AND WE’RE JUST GETTING STARTED! 🚵‍♀️

The inaugural Special Operations Adventure Foundation Women’s Retreat is officially underway in Colorado Springs, Colorado!

Women who served in and alongside Special Operations forces traveled from across the country to come together, settle in at the Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, get fitted to their bikes, and hit the trails for an incredible first day of riding, bonding, and reconnecting with fellow warriors.

But this is about so much more than mountain biking.

For those who have served in the Special Operations community, the bonds built through shared experiences, sacrifice, and service are unlike anything else. When military service ends, that connection can be difficult to find again. Having the opportunity to reconnect with former teammates and women who truly understand the journey can make all the difference.

The mission is simple: reconnect warriors, restore purpose, and remind our sisters they are never alone.

This retreat is about creating space for these women to step away from everyday life, challenge themselves outdoors, build new friendships, and reconnect with a community that understands where they’ve been and what they’ve experienced.

And this was just DAY ONE! The miles are ahead of us, the bonds are growing, and we’re just getting started. ❤️

🔥 FOLLOW ALONG! Over the coming days, we’ll share more of the adventures, the connections, and the impact of this incredible retreat.

If you believe in supporting the women who served alongside our nation’s finest, help us spread the word!

🔥 THIS HELMET HAS SOME SERIOUS HISTORY! 🔥

We are incredibly grateful to Comoto, who generously donated more than 20 adventure helmets to the Special Operations Adventure Foundation to help support our mission. 🇺🇸🏍️

We were also fortunate enough to have legendary motocross and X Games athlete Ronnie Renner personally sign one of those helmets!

If you know motocross, you know Ronnie. With 12 X Games medals, including multiple gold medals, along with world records for pushing motorcycles higher and farther than most people would dare, Ronnie is a true icon of freestyle motocross and action sports.

Now, one of those helmets is going to become a pretty special piece of SOAF history.

We’ll be auctioning this personally signed helmet at a later date, with the proceeds going directly toward supporting SOAF and our mission of providing adventure-based experiences for members of the Special Operations community.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Comoto for donating more than 20 helmets to SOAF, and to Ronnie Renner for taking the time to personally sign one and support our mission!

We are incredibly thankful for the support of companies and individuals who believe in what we are doing and help us continue to create meaningful experiences through adventure.

Stay tuned — you definitely won’t want to miss this auction! 🔥

🇺🇸 Adventure. Brotherhood. Purpose.

# # # Meet Christine — SOAF Volunteer Operations Manager 🇺🇸

One of the things that makes the Special Operations Adventure Foundation special is the people who choose to give their time, energy, and talents to our mission. Today, we want to introduce you to **Christine**, our Volunteer Operations Manager.

Christine joined SOAF after witnessing firsthand the challenges many veterans and their families face while transitioning from military to civilian life. She wanted to be part of an organization creating meaningful connection, support, and purpose during that transition.

As SOAF's Volunteer Operations Manager, Christine brings together strategy, operations, fundraising, and creativity to help turn ideas into action. She supports organizational development, donor initiatives, retreat planning, and the systems we need to continue growing and expanding our impact.

What excites Christine most is helping create memorable outdoor experiences that lead to something lasting: **renewed purpose, meaningful relationships, and a growing brotherhood and sisterhood where Special Operations veterans know they have a community that understands them.**

Outside of SOAF, Christine is a curious and creative adventurer who loves exploring by two wheels, four wheels, or on foot. She's happiest discovering new places, listening to great music, creating beautiful things, and sharing deep conversations around a campfire or on the trail—especially in good company.

We're incredibly grateful to have Christine as part of the SOAF family. Her creativity, dedication, and willingness to jump in and make things happen are a huge part of helping us move our mission forward.

**Thank you, Christine, for everything you bring to SOAF and to the veterans we serve.**
