🚧 We’ve been busy behind the scenes preparing for the construction of our outdoor arena! 🐴✨

Thanks to grant funding, this project is officially underway and will help us continue and grow our programs, creating more opportunities for both our horses and the people we serve. ❤️

The arena will be going in where some of our dry lot horses were previously housed, so our first big step was moving the horses to their new spots and taking down the panels and metal chute to make way for progress. 💪

Brenda will be picking one shelter/rescue to donate to.

🐴💕 Stanley and Thor have been talking to Spartacus through the panels, so they were let out together for a supervised introduction.

Thor has been a little rough with Stanley, trying to get him to play. Spartacus did fine with Thor, but he wanted to chase Stanley. 🤦‍♀️

Since Thor and Spartacus are actually getting along, it looks like Thor will be saying goodbye to his little buddy Stanley. ❤️

Stanley gets to go back up in the pasture where he can enjoy some more space and a break from keeping Thor company.🌿🐴

🐴 Thor’s Journey 🐴

Thor is a 2025 Mustang, born at our rescue on March 30, 2025 to Serenity, a mare from ROAR, a failed Texas rescue.

Since birth, Thor has been curious, playful, and affectionate. He is just starting with haltering and leading, and he continues to gain confidence and enjoy human interaction each day. Thor would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a friendly, energetic young Mustang. 💙
