It’s always wonderful to see one of our own winning!

Congratulations to FREA member and Tansey Elementary’s very own Ms. Lee, on this well-deserved recognition!

Congrats to this week's Wish Upon a Classroom winners, Miss Abreau from Hayden McFadden Elementary & Miss Lee from Tansey Elementary!

Happy Labor Day to all of our FREA members!

Today, we celebrate YOU—your hard work, dedication, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to our students, families, schools, and one another.

The strength of our union comes from the people who show up every day, support each other, and continue fighting for the respect, dignity, and working conditions educators deserve.

Thank you for all that you do. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved day of rest, reflection, and time with the people you love!

Ms. Seay is kicking off her 5th year in education at Letourneau Elementary School!

Five years of encouraging students, building confidence, creating connections, and making a difference one school day at a time.

Here’s to a year filled with growth, laughter, learning, and plenty of reasons to celebrate!

High five to Year 5, Ms. Seay! Wishing you and the entire Letourneau community an amazing school year ahead! 💙⚡

Year 11 started with an extra-special end-of-day visitor for Mrs. Lieberman! 💕👶

Mrs. Lieberman, a Special Education teacher at Doran, returned from maternity leave, kicking off her 11th year in education. After a full first day back, her little one stopped by for some much-needed baby snuggles.

This sweet moment is also a reminder of why paid parental leave matters. Under our FREA contract, educators have four weeks of paid parental leave, along with the ability to use accrued sick time—giving our members more meaningful time to recover, bond, and care for their growing families.

This is what collective bargaining looks like: contract language that directly improves the lives of educators and their families.

Here’s to Year 11, Mrs. Lieberman, and to celebrating both the students we care for at school and the families waiting for us at home.

Wishing the entire Doran community a successful school year!

Community is at the heart of everything we do in our schools. 💙

As Mrs. Roussel begins her 28th year as a Special Education teacher at Letourneau Elementary, she welcomed students back alongside a familiar face from the community—who also happens to be her daughter-in-law.

Moments like this are a wonderful reminder that strong schools are built through strong relationships. When educators, families, neighbors, and community members come together, our students feel more connected, supported, and surrounded by people who are invested in their success.

Wishing Mrs. Roussel, and all of the Letourneau students, staff, families, neighbors, and community members a successful and connected school year ahead! 🍎📚💙

Ms. Theisen is all smiles as she kicks off her 13th year of teaching with a brand-new pack of little second-grade Wolves!

Here’s to Lucky Year 13, Ms. Theisen! 🍀

We’ve done the math, and one thing is clear—Westall is pretty lucky to have you as part of the pack!

Wishing you and your little Wolf Cubs a successful school year! 🐾💙
