Our next Spirit Day!

We are proud to support the Little Theatre of Fall River and their production of “Matilda Jr.”

Our sold out run of Matilda Jr. begins on Wednesday but we’d like to take a moment to highlight our sponsor for this production, CFC Head Start.
Why Head Start and The Little Theatre of Fall River Are a Strong Community Partnership
A partnership between Head Start and The Little Theatre of Fall River creates a meaningful opportunity to support children, families, and the broader Fall River community through the power of the arts.
Head Start focuses on the whole child, helping young children develop socially, emotionally, academically, and physically while also supporting their families. The Little Theatre of Fall River can complement that mission by providing children with opportunities to experience creativity, storytelling, music, performance, and the excitement of live theatre in a welcoming community setting.
For young children, exposure to the arts can encourage imagination, communication, confidence, cooperation, and self-expression. A theatre partnership can make these experiences accessible to children and families who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in or attend live performances.
The partnership can also strengthen families and community connections. Bringing Head Start families into a local cultural institution gives families a chance to experience something together while helping children see that they are an important part of their community. Theatre can create shared experiences that encourage conversation, curiosity, and connection between children, parents, educators, artists, and neighbors.
Most importantly, this partnership demonstrates a shared investment in Fall River’s children. Head Start brings its expertise in early childhood education and family engagement, while The Little Theatre brings artistic experiences, creativity, and a connection to the local cultural community. Together, they can create programs and experiences that help children learn, families connect, and the community become stronger.
