✨What a great day at the NECSEMA 2026 Expo!

We had the opportunity to connect with convenience store retailers, independent operators, and energy marketers from across the region.

Events like these are a great reminder of the value of building relationships, sharing ideas, and supporting our customers.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello. We loved reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones along the way!

Why do standard ice machines stall during summer heat waves? 🧊🔥

Ice machines aren’t built for 90°F+ kitchen heat. When ambient air spikes and tap water warms up, production drops by 20% to 30%+.

Here’s the breakdown:

🌡️ Lower Heat Exchange: Air-cooled condensers struggle to dump heat when ambient room temp climbs, forcing the compressor to work harder.

💧 Warmer Inlet Water: Pre-heating intake water to 75°F+ adds extra minutes to every freeze cycle just to reach 32°F.

🫠 Faster Bin Melt-Off: Higher ambient heat speeds up bin melt-off, losing up to 20% of stored ice daily.
