Benedictus is a San Diego Catholic Diocese Approved Organization. Account created February 7, 2012 by Peter P.
Duenas for express use by Benedictus San Diego, California. Our motto: – He must increase while I must decrease
Objective: “…..Go before the Lord to prepare a way, to give His people knowledge of salvation by the forgiveness of sins.”
Benedictus Prayer – Luke 1:68-79
“Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, for He has visited and brought redemption to his people. He has raised up a horn for our salvation within the house of David his servant, even as He promised through the mouth of his holy prophets from of old; salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us, to show mercy to our fathers and to be mindful of His holy covenant and of the oath he swore to Abraham our father, and to grant us that, rescued from the hand of enemies, without fear we might worship Him in holiness and righteousness before him all our days. And you, child, will be called prophet of the most high, for you will go before the Lord to prepare His ways, to give His people knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God by which the daybreak from on high will visit us to shine on those who sit in darkness and death’s shadow, to guide our feet into the path of peace.”

This is a photo of Father Joe Carroll back in 2013 before we hosted him as a guest speaker at our Benedictus Men’s Group Breakfast on June 8, 2013. Our men’s group were so honored by his willingness to take time out of his busy schedule join us and to speak to our guests in the audience.
We just finished watching the livestream broadcast of his funeral mass service thanks to San Diego K**I.

It's been a long time since I've posted anything on the Benedictus page. After getting a number of inquiries about the status of the Benedictus Men's Group, and getting notifications of inactivity on this page, I've decided to begin posting again.
In that vein, I am pleased to post the following link announcing the next Benedictus Men's Group breakfast featuring Auxiliary Bishop John Dolan. Come hear this beloved holy man share the word of God!
