We are excited to announce that the Bridging A Gap Weekend Feeding Program is now joining the Multi-Service Center family of programs and services!

For 13 years, Bridging a Gap (BAG) has worked to address food insecurity among local students in Federal Way by providing nutritious weekend meals to children who may otherwise go without adequate food when school is not in session. Through this transition, the program will continue its important mission of feeding our community’s most food insecure students while benefiting from the resources, support, and community partnerships of MSC.

“I am excited for this next chapter for BAG,” says founder and board member Valerie Danforth. “I cannot think of a better organization than MSC to carry forward the program’s mission.”

Spring into Action has sprung! Thank you to everyone who supported the 25th Event Anniversary this year. Because of your generosity, we raised an incredible $223,328! A milestone that would not have been possible without every one of you.

Whether you donated, attended, volunteered, shared our message, or encouraged others to get involved, you played a vital role in this success. Because of you, we are able to deepen our work to increase equitable access to opportunities, strengthen advocacy efforts, and support the well-being of those we serve. These funds will directly expand programs, amplify voices that too often go unheard, and help remove barriers so individuals and families can thrive.

We are continually inspired by the generosity and compassion of this community. Together, we are not only meeting immediate needs but also building a future rooted in equity, where we all experience joy and belonging.
