Fun Spot America Atlanta has officially put everything on sale! The park will be liquidated through online auctions, with rides such as Hurricane, Sea Serpent, Spider, Hot Seat, and more up for grabs!

At the time of writing this, the current highest bid for Hurricane, the parks second largest coaster, is $5. Sea Serpent's highest bid is also $5.

Our favorite thing up for sale is this cracked out Pink Elephant with a water sprayer! It's current highest bid is $10.

Construction of the Minecraft roller coaster coming to Chessington World of Adventures is well underway! This Intamin Multi-Dimension Coasters will feature a spinning car, LSM launch, a short outdoor section, and hopefully lot's of theming!

Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift is officially open at Universal Studios Hollywood! This large Intamin Multi-Launch LSM Coaster features some amazing spinning moments, sideways ejector airtime, a backwards launch, and more! The 4100ft long coaster sends riders at a top speed of 72mph, making it the fastest coaster Universal has ever built!

The coaster has absolutely changed the park forever and perfectly fills the thrill coaster gap the park had beforehand!

Two iconic attractions, Star Mountain at Beto Carrero World and Aquatopia at Tokyo DisneySea, gave their final rides yesterday.

Star Mountain opened at Beto Carrero World in 1994, and was a pioneer in the Brazilian thrill coaster market. Over its 30 year lifespan at the park, it received over 35 million riders and accelerated the growth of South America's busiest amusement park! It was one of two operating Vekoma Corkscrews with a Bayern Kurve, leaving Apocalypse at Lunapark in southern France as the only one remaining.

The park celebrated the occasion with an elaborate fireworks display, as well as reopening Firewhip after a renovation!

Firewhip, the park's Vekoma SLC, underwent a nearly $5m USD renovation where the majority of the ride's layout was retracked!

While sad to see classics go, Beto Carrero World is preparing to enter a renaissance; as the park will be building a Spongebob-themed Intamin multi-launch coaster for 2028!

Aquatopia at Tokyo DisneySea was a quirky and unique trackless dark ride over water! The ride featured both wet and dry modes, which would switch depending on the season. The ride opened with the park in 2001, and was loved by many for the constant quick-moving, kinetic energy it brought to the surrounding area!

It is being removed ahead of a Port Discovery renovation.

Yesterday Six Flags Magic Mountain announced Thrill Glider, a world's first coming to the park in 2027! The world's first Vekoma Thrill Glider features inverted-motorbike style seating, allowing for a uniwue sensation as rider's fly along this record breaking coaster!

The ride features 5 inversions across its 107ft tall, 3380ft long layout, as well as a top speed of 50mph! Thrill Glider will be the world's tallest, fastest, longest, and most inverting Thrillglider in the world! This also means that it will be the world's shortest, slowest, tiniest, and least inverting Thrillglider in the world! It also features 2 unique LSM launches, the first one being a double up, and the second one being a station fly through! This makes Thrill Glider the world's first multi-launch Thrillglider, as well as the world's least-launched Thrillglider!

As tacky as I find the records for this ride to be, I'm actually quite excited for it! The coaster is larger and more thrill based than I anticipated, and it will have great presence in the park!

Clementon Park has announced that it will be closing after the 2026 season. The park was home to Hell Cat, an elusive S&S Wooden Coaster! Hell Cat was known as one of the roughest coasters out there and has been SBNO for some time. Of the 3 existing S&S Wooden Coasters, 2 of them will be closing at the end of this year! This will leave Falken at Farup Sommerland, in Denmark, as the world's only operating wooden coaster from the manufacturer.

The New Jersey park was bought by Gene Staples in 2021 after it originally failed to reopen from the COVID pandemic. Gene Staples currently owns 3 parks, Indiana Beach, Niagara Amusement Park, and Clementon Park. Additionally, his company operates Lake Winnepesaukah. He is reportedly facing a $28m lawsuit with the private equity firm Bridge Investment Group over missing loan payments and failing to pay property taxes.

While we hope Gene is able to overcome these issues, we can't help but feel like the writing was on the wall for Clementon Park. While just our opinion, we would not be surprised if Niagara Amusement Park follows a similar fate sooner rather than later.

Six Flags has announced that they have BOUGHT ArieForce One! This RMC masterpiece will be moved into one of their parks in the 2028 or 2029 season!

The chain has not confirmed a location the ride will move to yet, but they have confirmed other details. They plan to honor the history of the ride, and will be keeping the ride's name ArieForce One! They also said that they will announce the ride's new location by the end of this year.
