Happy Mother's Day!!!

Good afternoon Prophets and Friends,

This is your notice that Koz Grotto will gather on Friday May 29th at St. Charles Masonic Temple (2051 Collier Corporate Parkway, St. Charles, MO 63303). We will have a brief meeting at 6:30 PM, followed by talking, drinking, and eating any snacks anyone brings at 7:30 PM. I hope to see you there! I will volunteer to bring some adult libations. We would like someone to bring additional snacks. We have several topics to discuss during the meeting. Please let me know if you plan to attend the meeting or fellowship. Fellowship is open to everyone.

Unfortunately, everyone seems to have called out, so we are canceling the meeting.

We will have a brief meeting at 6:30 PM, followed by talking, drinking, and eating any snacks anyone brings at 7:00 PM. I hope to see you there! I will volunteer to bring some bourbon. We would like someone to bring additional snacks. One topic we will discuss during the meeting is moving the May meeting from May 22nd to May 29th, as the 22nd falls on Memorial Day weekend (our meetings are the fourth Friday of the month). Please let me know if you plan to attend the meeting or fellowship. Fellowship is open to everyone.

Coming up on this Saturday (April 4th), for those of you with active memberships, we are encouraging you to head to the next meeting of Alhambra Grotto at 10:00am at Beacon Masonic Temple (7251 N. Hanley Road, Hazelwood, MO, United States, 63042).

On the future agenda, a few people said they were interested in attending the 6th Annual Sigurblot Viking Festival in Festus MO on April 11th, 2026. This is a FREE event that is open to all ages. The Four Brothers Mead Viking Festival is a Missouri Viking reenactment and mead festival designed to celebrate Norse history, craftsmanship, and community. And coming up towards the end of the month, on Friday, April 24th, we will be having an official meeting at St. Charles Masonic Temple (2051 Collier Corporate Parkway, St. Charles, MO 63303) at 6:30pm for the meeting and then 7pm will be talking, drinking, and eating any snacks anyone happens to bring along. VIKING FESTIVAL – Four Brothers Mead Looking for a Viking festival in Missouri? Join us at Four Brothers Mead for a full-day Norse celebration featuring live Viking combat, artisan vendors, mead tastings, fire performances, and family-friendly activities.

Only a couple of us at the Bourbon Festival on Saturday, but it was a great time!

We're planning a meet up at Showme MO Spirits Festival on Saturday March 28 at 3500 Hempstead Street, St. Charles, MO 63301. This once again is open to whomever you would want to bring with you.

Hey y’all, hope the holidays have gone well!

Just a reminder that we’re going to have our first meeting and social hour on Friday, January 24th at Fenton - 7 PM. Weather permitting. If not, we’ll do it over Zoom.

The results of our elections are as follows:

Chief Justice: Randy D
Master of Ceremonies: Sean M
Treasurer: Conner W
Secretary: Griffin H

It was decided that Caleb would stay put for one more term. I’d really like for Koz to get a few more prophets at our meetings/socials and for us to plan a couple of fun events to start off the year strong.
A spirit tasting night w/ s’mores and games, for example, would be awesome!

Lastly, Koz Grotto dues are now a bit overdue, my bad on that. I’ll put the deadline for Koz dues on Saturday, February 1st - 1 PM. They’ll be $40 per member.

Good Evening Prophets!

Our Grotto has an opportunity to work with Gateway Lodge and raise funds for Koz at the Festival of the Little Hills.

Gateway will have a booth to sell food and help is needed to staff throughout the weekend of August 16-18.

Please take a look and volunteer as soon as possible!

Gateway will portion out funds according to how many hours are worked from each of the organizations, no percentage of funds is guaranteed. Unfortunately we have had one group back out already due to miscommunication about how the funds will be dispersed.

We only have until July 31 to commit members to this. Please let me know if you have any questions and sign up today!
