We recently delivered this 5,000 VAC Current Transformer Induction Tester that spans two production lines.
Unlike our High Current CT Comparators, this tester induces current into the secondary of a CT and measures:
- Turns Ratio (on up to 6 windings)
- Polarity
- Induction @ 400Hz
- 4-Wire Resistance
- Excitation Curve
- Knee Point (to determine the point of saturation)

As in most testers, operator safety is of paramount importance and all data is stored in databases
