Coast Salish artist Jason LaClair created one of our two new library card designs unveiled during Library Card Sign-Up Month. We love it! Do your family and friends have a card? Encourage them to visit the library to get started.
LIBRARY CARD SIGN-UP MONTH: Now that's a beautiful library card! We are honored to feature a design by Coast Salish artist Sienum Jason LaClair as one of our new library card options. Jason originally created "Cedar People" to accompany our Land Acknowledgement. We knew right away it would look great on a card. Thank you, Jason. We are grateful to partner with you on this and other projects. Donors to the Whatcom County Library Foundation funded the artist's commission. Thank you! Choose "Cedar People" or one of our other designs when you apply for your library card at any WCLS branch.
