For the first time in four years, we hit a little snag, during the initial phone call i explain how we handle our pricing and moving process.
From day one, we've always been transparent with our customers. We explain exactly how our labor-only moving service works and let them know they have options. If they need a truck, we can provide one for an additional fee. However, if they want to save money, they're welcome to provide their own truck, whether it's a U-Haul, Penske, Budget truck, a pickup truck, or even a truck and trailer if it makes sense for the job.
We also explain our labor pricing upfront. We have a minimum hourly charge typically a 2-hour minimum for two movers and a 3-hour minimum for larger crews. If we have to travel about an hour to the job, the minimum is automatically three hours. For jobs that require loading one day and unloading the next, the hourly minimum applies to both days.
This is how we've operated since the company started. We believe in being honest, upfront, and giving customers options that can save them money. We didn't start this business to empty people's wallets we started it to provide high-quality moving services while helping people keep more money in their pockets.
