Come see your Fishers Health Department at Hamilton Southeastern Schools' Before the Bell on THURSDAY, July 30, at the NPD Amphitheater from 5:30–7:30 PM!

Our health educators will be there sharing back-to-school health & wellness tips for parents, caregivers, and students; everything you need to start the year!

This week, 20 students got a behind-the-scenes look at public health during the Teen Public Health Academy. Through hands-on experiences, they completed a mock restaurant inspection, tested water, learned Stop the Bleed techniques, visited the Indiana Department of Health Laboratory, and more.

See what they learned next week at Health & Wellness Day at the Fishers Farmers Market! Academy participants will lead fun public health activities they created for the community.

The FHD team had a great week at the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) Conference in Louisville!

Staff delivered two podium presentations, brought home the Model Practice Award for the Fall Prevention Program and returned with fresh ideas to support the health of our community. 👏
