Last night’s 24th Anniversary Dinner was more than a celebration of how far Alhuda has come. It was a reminder of the lives changed, the hearts touched, and the people who found a home when they needed one most. 🕌
Throughout the evening, we heard deeply moving stories from our students, youth, parents, and reverts. Stories of people who once felt lost, who searched for belonging, and who found guidance, hope, and a family within these walls. Their words brought the room to tears, reminding us that Alhuda is so much more than a masjid or an organization. It is a place where people grow, where generations find their footing, and where no one has to walk alone. 🥹
To every volunteer, organizer, and supporter who poured their time, energy, and heart into making this evening possible, thank you. And to our generous donors, thank you for helping us exceed our fundraising goal. Your generosity is an investment in every life we have yet to touch and every story still waiting to be written. 🤝
As we look toward our 25th anniversary, inshaAllah, we carry 24 years of memories, countless lives impacted, and an even greater responsibility to the generations ahead. With your continued support, our 25th year will be bigger, better, and more meaningful than ever. ❤️
24 years of building a family. A lifetime of changing lives. And a future we will build together, inshaAllah. 🫶

Some memories are too meaningful to leave behind. 🤍
At the entrance of Alhuda’s 24th Anniversary Formal Dinner, we placed this welcome poster for our volunteers and everyone involved in planning and bringing the event to life. Each person had the opportunity to leave a message for the community, a duaa for the future, or a little reminder of what this night meant to them. 📝
What started as a simple welcome sign became a piece of our history, filled with the thoughts, duas, and memories of those who worked behind the scenes to make this night possible. 🤝
Throughout the evening, we heard stories from community members that brought tears to our eyes, not out of sadness, but out of joy and gratitude. Stories that reminded us that Alhuda is more than a masjid. It is a family, built on years of sacrifice, love, service, and a shared commitment to growing together. 🥹
As we celebrate 24 years of Alhuda, we look forward to our 25th anniversary, inshaAllah, with even bigger dreams and a brighter future ahead.
Next year, we’ll bring this poster back out, read these messages again, and look back on the memories we made together, remembering the people and moments that made it all possible.
To everyone who played a part, whether behind the scenes or on the day of the event, JazakumAllahu Khairan. This is our community, our home, and our family.
May Allah continue to unite our hearts, bless our community, and allow Alhuda to flourish for generations to come. Ameen.
+ Alhamdulillah, what you all want to hear: WE SURPASSED OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL! 🎉

Over 20 years ago, Alhuda started with a vision…
From a warehouse, to a small building, to the beautiful home we have today, every step was made possible by the support, sacrifices, and generosity of our community. 🕌
But a building is only a building. What truly brings Alhuda to life is the people, the relationships, the events, the youth, the families, and the memories we create together. ❤️
As we look toward the future, we invite you to be part of that vision. 🤝
Join us for our first Annual Alhuda Dinner on October 3rd as we come together, reflect on how far we’ve come, and look ahead to what’s next.🍴

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّد ﷺ
O Allah, send Your peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
Thursday night marks the beginning of Friday (Jumu’ah) 🌙
The Prophet ﷺ said that the best day the sun rises upon is Friday — so increase your prayers upon him tonight and throughout the day tomorrow.
Don’t forget to read Surah Al-Kahf, a light between two Fridays ✨
(Reported in Sahih Muslim & Al-Hakim)
May Allah accept from us all.
At Alhuda, serving our community goes far beyond the walls of the masjid. Our Food Pantry is just one of the many ways we strive to serve and support those around us. 🤍
Through the generosity of our community and the dedication of our volunteers, 692 individuals have been served so far this year, Alhamdulillah.
This effort is completely volunteer-driven, from organizing and stocking shelves to welcoming families and distributing food. We’re grateful for every person who gives their time, resources, and energy to make it possible.
We hope to continue highlighting the many ways our community comes together to serve others and make a meaningful impact.
May Allah SWT reward our volunteers, donors, and everyone who helps make this work possible. Ameen. 🤲

When our Indiana neighbors were in need, the Alhuda community answered. 🤍
Following the recent flooding across Indiana, we asked our community to come together and support those affected. You showed up with an incredible amount of supplies, which were then delivered to local relief centers to help families impacted by the flooding.
This is what it means to live Islam beyond the walls of the masjid.
As Muslims, we are called to be a source of mercy, compassion, and goodness to those around us. Our faith teaches us to care for our neighbors and serve our communities, especially in times of hardship.
May Allah accept every donation, every box packed, and every hand that helped. May Allah bring relief to everyone affected by the flooding and make our community a source of goodness wherever we are. 🤲
