Pet Pleasers is located in Fishkill , NY. We offer nothing less than exceptional, loving care for Please ask for our drop off and pick up hours). Thank You!!!

At Pet Pleasers we have dedicated our lives to giving your pet the highest care available when you cannot be there to provide it for them. We understand how difficult it can be to leave your pet behind. We would like to offer you a personal tour of our facility and spend some one on one time with you answering all of your questions so you can leave your pet with peace of mind. Please remember that our kennel is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. (Please note that drop off and pic up times are NOT offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each pet has it's own indoor suite here at Pet Pleasers. Our dog boarding consists of two different sections. We offer what are considered Indoor/Outdoor runs, which is usually where the medium to large sized dogs are boarded. The indoor portion is connected by a doggie door to an outdoor run, fenced with chain link, which are 18 feet long. In this section your dog can see it's neighbors from the outside run, through the fencing. Inside there are half walls which offer your dog privacy from the dogs on either side. If your dog is friendly we will take him into one of our secure, fenced yards to let him exercise and play. Please note that it is not regular practice for us to mix large breed dogs together for play time. We will, however, let them in the yard that is just outside one of our outdoor run sections so your pet can socialize with other dogs through the fence. This way they can see and meet different dogs without the possibility of getting injured if a fight were to happen. This rule helps keep your dog(s) safe, as well as our human staff. We will toss a ball, play a game of chase, or just let him sniff around if that is what he wishes to do. Your dog's wish is our command. We do our best to provide outside time as many times as possible throughout the day. After all, we are here to provide him with love and affection while you are away. Here at Pet Pleasers we always make time to play! If your dog is a small breed or just too nervous to be around other barking dogs we offer a separate section called "The Puppy Lounge". Here your dog will lodge in his own separate quarters, which are enclosed on three sides to help give your pet a "den-like security". Here they cannot see other dogs, which helps them adjust to their new environment quickly. Dog's lodging in our Puppy Lounge have their own private yard for potty and play purposes. Small dogs that are non-aggressive are allowed to frolic and play together in their private yard. All dogs are always under constant supervision while they play together. If your dog is staying in the Puppy Lounge is too timid or nervous to play with others, they will be allowed in the yard alone and will get to play with some of our friendly human staff members! Here at Pet Pleasers we start our day no later than 7:30am. The dogs are taken out to tend to their potty business while our staff sanitizes the inside suites of the kennel. Fresh clean blankets are then laid down for your pet's comfort, if they do not eat blankets, of course (ha, ha, yes, some dogs LOVE to rip up and eat blankets which can be very dangerous). Their water dishes are replaced with clean fresh water and cookies are placed in their room for a yummy morning surprise! Once the kennel has been completely cleaned and prepared for the dogs, they are let back inside so they can rest a bit. We like the dogs to be rested before eating their morning meal. While the dogs are dining in their rooms the outside runs are cleaned and sanitized as well. As the runs dry, the dogs rest inside for about an hour after breakfast. If they are allowed outside too soon after eating, they may get a belly ache and throw up their breakfast. After their bellies settle they are let out again. Depending on the weather, the doggie doors in between the inside and outside remain open so they can go in and out as they please. From this time until the evening the dogs are taken into the yard for some fun. If your dog potties in the outside run it is immediately picked up and sanitized to ensure your dog stays clean and smelling fresh. All of the dogs (if friendly with us humans) get kisses and hugs and some specialized attention. We even sit in their rooms with them, on the floor, and snuggle with them! To us, this is the best part of the job and what makes it all worth our while.

After dinner, when the bellies are once again rested and settled, the dogs are taken outside again. They are let out for the last time of the night around 9:30-10:00pm. Once inside for the night, each dog gets a special cookie treat as a late night bedtime snack! Here at Pet Pleasers we offer state of the art Cat Boarding for your feline friends in an area separate from our canine friends. We have two options for our cat boarding as well. We have a single cat suite that is enclosed on three sides, which gives your cat a feeling of privacy. We also offer an extra large suite which is suitable for two cats from the same household. This enclosure offers views from all four sides and is portable. This allows up to place it directly in front of a window if your cat likes a view of the outside! This enclosure also includes a perch for your pet's comfort. The perch is covered with lambskin bedding that can be removed and washed in between guests. With the owner's permission catnip and treats are offered to our feline friends. If your cat likes to he held or cuddled with, we are more than happy to do so! In case of an emergency we have a vet on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If your dog becomes ill we will do our best to take your pet to your regular Veterinarian. We feel this is best because your vet knows your pet and it's health history. If it is after hours and we cannot contact your Vet we would either ask one of our favorite local vets to come to the kennel to see your dog or we would take your pet to the Animal Emergency Clinic of the Hudson Valley located on Noxon Road. We would, of course, try to contact you via cell phone or emergency phone numbers provided by you. In the case where you cannot be reached, we will make treatment decisions for your pet, as stated in the contract signed at the time of drop off. Pet Pleasers requires a current record of Vaccinations to confirm your reservation. Dog Vaccinations required are:
Rabies
Bordetella
Distemper

Canine Influenza Vaccination (CIV) is optional at this time. Please note that Vaccinations need to be in your dog's system AT LEAST 10-14 DAYS PRIOR TO BOARDING!!!!!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!! Cat Vaccinations required are:
Rabies
Distemper
Feline Leukemia (if your cat is an indoor ONLY cat and you do not want to vaccinate for this, we will accept a blood test proving your cat is negative and will require testing on a yearly basis). We are always concerned about the safety of our furry visitors and strive to make our kennel an immaculate, healthy, happy environment for your pets. Our Vaccination protocol is used as an aid in preventing viruses that can be airborne and contagious. All Vaccination records must be sent to Pet Pleasers via fax, mail, or dropped off in person PRIOR to your pet's arrival. This is the responsibility of the Pet Owner. No pet can be boarded without current vaccinations, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call!

🌧️ Well… it’s been a WET one at Pet Pleasers! 🐾

Mother Nature apparently decided the dogs needed a weekend of swimming lessons. 😂 So whenever we got a little break in the rain, we grabbed the cameras and snapped a few pictures before the next round started!

There has been lots of happy playing, lots of wet noses, and an absolutely ridiculous amount of TOWEL DRYING going on around here.

I’m pretty sure our laundry room is now just a towel-processing facility. 🤔

Dry dog? ❌
Wet dog? ✅
Wet towel? ✅
Another wet dog? OF COURSE. 😂

But even with all the rain, these guys are still having a great weekend, getting plenty of love and making the most of every little break in the weather. ❤️🐶

So here’s a look at our soggy weekend crew! ☔️🐾

And if anyone needs us… we’ll be over here doing laundry. Again. 😂🧺

🐾 A Little Sneak Peek at the Weekend at Pet Pleasers! 🐾

The weekend crew is starting to roll in, and judging by these pictures… we’re in for a really good one! 😍

Lots of happy faces, playful personalities, sniffing around, making new friends, and of course, getting plenty of love and attention. ❤️🐶

And can we just say… these pups are absolutely killing it in front of the camera! 📸 They must have known it was picture day because almost everyone decided to cooperate. 😂

Here’s just a little peek at what’s happening around here. There’s plenty more fun to come! Hopefully the camera shy pups will decide the camera isn't going to steal their soul!!!

🐾 A Little Peek at Tuesday and Wednesday ’s Crew ! 🐾

We had two busy days in the Puppy Lounge! Lots of daycare fun, happy little faces, playing, getting some love, and doing all the important things little dogs do. ❤️ We also have a Nervous Nelly doing his first Big Boy Overnight and I just know that he is going to do great! His Peanut-Butter-Kong is in the freezer getting ready for tonight and he can't wait for it after having a little taste at lunchtime 😋

We also welcomed a new family member today for a trial day. He can have a little separation anxiety, so we wanted to give him a chance to come hang out, get comfortable, and see how he did.

Well… I think he did just fine! 🥰

He enjoyed a peanut-butter-stuffed bone, did plenty of sniffing around (because apparently that is a full-time job for a Foxhound 😂), and seemed to settle in pretty nicely.

I think he’s going to really enjoy his upcoming sleepover with us! ❤️

Of course, we also had a few camera-shy campers today. 🤦‍♀️😂 You know the ones… the second the camera comes out, suddenly they have somewhere VERY important to be!

We’ll try again tomorrow and see if we can catch them cooperating. 📸🐶

Just another day at Pet Pleasers… lots of playing, lots of sniffing, lots of love, and a whole lot of happy campers! 💜🐾

Rufus Spahn, I wish I had known about Barbie's suspended license before I let her take the car for a spin!

Now I know we just said we don't post names because of liability reasons, but there needs to be an exception to the rule once in a while...😁

🩷Barbie & Kenny🩷
🩷 Have Arrived🩷

Some days the dogs just pose for pictures…
and some days they show up looking like they’re ready for their Barbie Dream Car. 😂🩷

Meet Barbie & Ken — proving that even at Pet Pleasers, we have a little bit of glamour, a little bit of attitude, and apparently… a very pink ride (just like someone else they know 🙃🤭). 🚗💅🐾

I think these two understood the assignment. 😎 🩷

Just another day of making memories with our furry family at Pet Pleasers! 🐾💜

Thanks Mike Spike Ceglio for the awesome photo 📸

Happy boarders at Pleasers

😎 Mid-September at Pet Pleasers! 🐾💜

Apparently cooler temperatures don’t just make the dogs happier… they give them a little ATTITUDE! 😂

We had some seriously fun faces, playful personalities, goofy moments, and plenty of “Yeah, I know I’m cute” energy happening around here this weekend. 😏🐶

We don’t mention names for liability reasons… 😉 so we’ll just say there were a LOT of characters in the building!

The photo evidence speaks for itself. 📸😂

Lots of playing, lots of zoomies, lots of love, and plenty of happy pups enjoying their weekend with us. ❤️

We absolutely love seeing everyone having such a good time — although some of these faces might need to be reminded that this is a kennel, not a modeling agency. 😂

🍂🐾 Cooler Temps = Happier Dogs! 🐾🍂

I don’t know about you, but I think the dogs are VERY happy that someone finally turned the temperature down! 😂

After a long, hot summer, these cooler days have everyone feeling a little more energetic. More running, more playing, more zoomies, more exploring… and of course, plenty of time for getting loved on. ❤️

It’s been so nice watching everyone enjoy being outside without looking at us like, “Seriously? You want me to move in THIS heat?” 😂

Our days at Pet Pleasers are always filled with a little bit of everything — playtime, naps, new friends, old friends, belly rubs, and lots of happy tails. 🐶💜

And honestly, seeing all those happy faces makes all the busy days worth it.

Here’s to cooler weather, happier pups, and plenty more fun ahead! 🍁🐕💜

Fun With Filters!

Photos from Pet Pleasers's post 09/14/2026

🐾 Some new faces joined us over the weekend! 💜

We had a really fun crew here from Saturday through Monday, including some pups who were visiting Pet Pleasers for the very first time. 🥰

There’s honestly nothing better than watching a new dog walk through the door a little unsure of things… and then, before you know it, they’re out there playing, sniffing around, making friends and soaking up all the attention. ❤️

We had zoomies.

We had playtime.

We had plenty of cuddles.

We had dogs making themselves very comfortable. 😂

And, of course, we had lots and lots of love.

Some of the new pups jumped right into the fun like they’d been coming here forever. Others took a little time to warm up — and that's perfectly okay. Every dog gets to settle in at their own pace here.

And watching those little personalities come out is one of my favorite parts of what we do. 🐶💜

We may spend our weekends surrounded by barking, fur, slobber, muddy paws and the occasional “WHAT are you eating?!” 😂… but we also get to spend them surrounded by some pretty amazing dogs.

We’re so happy to welcome our newest guests to the Pet Pleasers family, and we're just as happy to have our familiar faces back with us!

Here's a little peek at our weekend and Monday crew. 🐾📸

Thanks for trusting us with your babies. We really do love what we do — and we love getting to know every single one of these goofy, sweet personalities. 💜🐾
