Scruffi Dogg

Meet my 2 goobers! They are slowing becoming friends and figuring out a new home life without their 2 alpha/lead dogs to follow. And they are also becoming more snuggly with me.
Dewie on the left is a 13yr old Chiweenie who is still as active as a 5yr old and is learning how wonderful human tough can be. I have had him for 11yrs but he respected the alpha dogs and kept his distance.
Cher is a 5yr old Chug who believes my only job is to give her belly rubs. She too is learning not to panic at sounds and touch. I have had her since she was 1.5yrs old & weening her second litter of Chug puppies.
My retirement came at about the same time I (we) lost the 20yr old alpha/lead dog. With so many changes in barely 2 months we are working out new routines and new signals for when they need to go out side. Either 1 or both will just go and stand by the door and stare at me. Which is great if I am looking in that direction, but if my nose is in the computer, they just keep standing there patiently waiting. I found one of those "door bell" things like when you walk in a store and a sound goes off. I think I am going to get one of those and see what they think.

Since I retired and closed my pet store I have quite a bit of inventory left. So I am selling it on my current eBay store.
