we were gonna try and open for lunch, but this rain is just not stopping and it will not be a good experience today to eat at the restaurant.

We are going to shut it down and just focus on the wedding 🤘

I’m sure you have all met Faith, she is the bright shining star that exudes positivity and happiness when you walk in. In my and Marcus’s absence she has kept the place going while we have been searching for our second location.

She and the whole staff have done an incredible job.

I won’t lie being away from the restaurant as much as we have scared me a lot at first but we had to see if it worked without us in order to see if we could do another.

Faith and the whole crew have done a better job than I ever could have imagined keeping our values and the magic that is this place alive.

Have you ever heard of Little Bird in Fairhope?

Did you know they recently got a write up from the New York Times for top 50 restaurants in America 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Well before all that happened 🤣 I texted Will and told him I was taking some of our leadership team to lunch there so they could experience what service at a higher level should feel like.

I did this because Marcus and I both believe that just because we are an order at the counter patio burger bar… that doesn’t mean that service should stop there. You should feel welcomed and taken care of like you are at a party in our home not like you are just eating another meal.

We have two core values
1. Guest Experience
2. Ex*****on

Seeing those things in a different atmosphere and showing them that just because we serve cheeseburgers and fries out of a bag doesn’t mean we still can’t make people feel like we feel in this restaurant right now. Taken care of and appreciated.

I didn’t get pictures of the entrees because I think we were all too excited and hungry 🤣 but the food was outstanding. They knocked it out of the park.

The building is gorgeous, it was a little house that they completely redid “ and if you know me, I love doing things and weird old houses 🤣”

the service was phenomenal

And the food was of course top tier

Huge thank you to Chef Bill Briand, your incredible staff and of course my man Will Jones for taking such great care of myself and the team.

We had an amazing experience and they learned so much more about steps of service 🙏

And yes…. We all went in there in and ate a delicious meal in CHEESEBURGER t-shirts 🤣 I didn’t tell them where we were going. They just thought it was another meeting 🤣

My homie Shannon of Sachas Bakery made us a delicious GIANT pop tart but has the same spelling impairment as me 🤣🤣🤣

you should check her out! She makes amazing sourdough bread, delicious muffins, and tons of other stuff.

She is typically at the farmers market on Saturday, but if you wanna pop tart, you have to be there before like 8 o’clock because they are gone in 60 seconds just like Nicholas Cage
