AMW Equiscope

Two weeks ago Rigley and I went to Louisiana for a horse show. Due to traffic, the ride there was longer than usual plus it was hot.

He didn’t feel 100% the first day of the show. I decided to do an Equiscope session on him that evening and see how he felt the next day. If he wasn’t 100%, we’d scratch. This was his first show back at his previous level since October 2024. All of 2025 was dedicated to EPM treatment and rehab.

The next day I gave him a long warmup to stretch and loosen up. He felt good at walk and trot. I held my breath when I asked him to canter. I should have known better. The Equiscope had him feeling 1000%. We went ahead and showed and won Champion in our division. His body felt so much better and it translated to our rides.

He started off great again on the last day (after another session the night before) and scored an 81 for our first trip. We had a bobble on the second round but that was just due to us being out of the game awhile.

I know he wouldn’t have felt as good as he did without the help of the Equiscope. he felt better each day instead of sore and worn down.
