A comprehensive approach to brain disorders with lifetime results using dTMS Brainsway procedure and many more solid research based therapies.
There are treatments for most brain disorders today. No brain disorder can be treated with just one therapy alone. This is the reason that I developed treatments that include a more comprehensive approach which includes diet, medications, brain therapies, exercises, herbs, sleep/hygiene, DNA analysis and deep transcranial magnetic stimulation (brainsway). My approach includes 5 weeks of initial intensive therapy followed by continued distance consulting for up to 9 months.

Alzheimer’s Survivor Walking Across England
Patient Zero—Judy Benjamin—who is now 82, over 14 years on the ReCODE protocol, and continuing to do very well, recently completed a 2700-mile walk from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. Today she begins a new journey in England, a 650-mile trek that includes walking from Land’s End to Dover, Canterbury, and then London. Judy founded the Alzheimer’s Survivors Foundation to bring awareness to the many survivors around the world—as the survivors say, “Alzheimer’s Survivors—We Exist.” Congratulations, Judy, on your remarkable accomplishments that are helping to reduce the global burden of dementia. Good luck on the walk!

As you age, your blood-brain barrier weakens, letting in harmful chemicals that cause inflammation. This weakening is associated with increased activity of TNAP (tissue-nonspecific alkaline phosphatase), but new research indicates that exercise can cause the liver to release the GPLD1 enzyme, which cleaves the tail of TNAP, leading to repair of the weak spots and protection of the brain from dementia. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2026/02/260219040752.htm

Glucosamine, a popular joint supplement combining glucose and glutamine, which can cross the blood-brain barrier, was linked to faster Alzheimer’s progression. Interesting research that further highlights the connection between sugar and Alzheimer’s, and a good warning for many of us taking glucosamine regularly. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2026/06/260610003044.htm

Aduhelm, once Biogen’s best hope for monetizing dementia, has had a rough ride following its controversial accelerated approval. The company abandoned commercialization attempts back in 2022, and now will settle claims they misled investors. Considering the billions that have been invested in the development of anti-amyloid drugs, the $18.9 million is “couch-cushion money” for Biogen; the much greater problem is that the repeated claims that this type of approach is the most effective treatment is misleading investors—and more importantly, patients—every day. https://www.reuters.com/legal/government/biogen-pay-189-million-settle-investors-claims-over-alzheimers-drug-2026-06-08/

According to Dr. Baibing Chen, acting out vivid dreams may be an early indicator of cognitive decline. The condition, known as REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD), sees a 33.5% risk of neurodegenerative diseases at five years, rising to 96.6% at 14 years, and most people with RBD will develop either Lewy body disease or Parkinson’s. Therefore, if you have RBD, please get evaluated, and make sure the evaluation includes toxin assessment (inorganics like mercury, organics like toluene, and biotoxins like trichothecenes). The ReCODE protocol has shown efficacy in Lewy body disease when detoxification is included. https://www.futura-sciences.com/en/im-a-neurologist-and-this-nighttime-sign-may-indicate-increased-dementia-risk_31784/

A new study has found that higher consumption of ultra-processed foods is associated with higher dementia risk and lower attention scores. The correlation remained strong even after participants switched to the Mediterranean diet.

Yet again, an inflammatory marker has been associated with risk for Alzheimer’s: in this case, a blood biomarker, the neutrophil (type of white blood cell associated with inflammation) to lymphocyte ratio (NLR), which is commonly associated with infection and inflammation, identified patients at risk of developing Alzheimer’s. Neutrophils are beginning to be studied for their role in Alzheimer’s, but the more relevant factor may be the underlying insults (such as infections) that caused the neutrophil increase. https://nyulangone.org/news/early-immune-changes-may-signal-increased-risk-alzheimers-dementia

Following a healthy plant-based diet can reduce your risk of dementia, even if started later in life, according to new research. We recommend the plant-based, polyphenol-rich KetoFLEX 12/3 diet as part of the ReCODE Protocol to protect your brain health. https://www.brainandlife.org/articles/plant-based-diet-lower-dementia-risk
