Several weeks ago they found immature cells in his spinal fluid . Monday Gardner goes for another test. This is my biggest fear.

I’m curious as to how you interpret these instructions.
When would you start giving this medication again?
Do you ever just sit and cry because your kid will finally eat? This is such a rollercoaster. He claims he’s not hungry but he’s so skinny and he’s not eaten much in several days. 🙏

cut out the items, & seal in tape to make mini play kitchen & house accessories for your Action figures and dolls.
I saw this in another mom group and Grace helped me make some for Gardner. She was so excited and wished we made these for her Barbie when she was small.

Several months ago Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola asked Gardner to paint a piece for them. This is a sweet painting of all his friends at school. It’s a vibrant piece like him.

After several days of not feeling well, he asked for chocolate covered strawberries. 🍓 of course I had to make them. Even if he won’t eat them. I’m struggling to get him to eat. It’s like his tastebuds, his body and his mind can’t get in agreement.

We had a rough morning.
Gardner asked to go to the beach, so we went. After only about 8 minutes in the water he was already too tired to walk back to the car. We tried the park next, hoping the shade would help him cool off, but he overheated and started vomiting.
Methotrexate has left him with so much fatigue and heat sensitivity. Even short time outside can wipe him out completely.
On top of that, our vehicle is struggling in the heat. We need fans installed to help the engine cool in traffic, but the mechanic is closed until next week. I’m realizing more and more that I need a dependable vehicle — I’ll have to figure that out somehow.
We finally got home, cleaned up, and his FOMO kept him from napping. I just got him to sleep. Hoping he’ll be rested enough to enjoy the Darcy show at OWA tonight. We’re still trying to give him as many happy moments as we can, even on the hard days.
Please keep praying for strength for his little body and for wisdom as we navigate all the moving pieces.
